Many Indian Americans helped build modern Texas as doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, taxpayers, and job creators.
Now they are being targeted by the very political ecosystem benefiting from their success.

I will never not find it fascinating that some of the most brazen hostility toward legal immigrants comes from children of immigrants or from immigrants themselves. There's a real tradition of pulling the ladder up right after you finish climbing it. It is so strange.

The real tradition is politicians and corporate boards systematically hollowing out America for fatter margins, usually in the form of imported cheap foreign labor or offshoring entire industries - auto, steel, energy, construction, and most recently, tech.
The numbers don't lie; Americans of all stripes are getting fired by the tens of thousands and replaced with cheap, offshore labor and conveniently manipulatable H1-B temps.
You don't see how another immigrant, whether they be 1st or 2nd generation could take issue?
You and I could be cousins, and yet you wish to sell my family's future.
