@zalodaniel @Mghazake Funny how a project that is beneficial to the whole of EAC wasn't seen as a priority by previous regimes, huh?

@Mghazake Its not heading to Nyanza. It is however beneficial to people from Nyanza, Western and Rift valley....at a fee. It ends at Mau Summit. It is a major trading route in EAC. Dont tribalize everything. Even Moi and Ruto came from part of this route ....

Remember other Africans running with the narrative that Kenya was wrong to host the Africa CDC and how many Kenyans on here joined them in tweeting the same? Uhuru’s government withdrew its support, China built the headquarters in Ethiopia, and the rest is history. We have a poorly informed lot here with a negative opinion on everything.

To the church in Kavirondo; I am an avid TUTAM supporter and will go out of my way to campaign for President William Ruto’s reelection within ODM and the Broad-Based Youth Front. Now that that is out of the way, here’s a little analysis on tribelessness. “Tribeless” in the Kenyan youth movement is the hidden hand that means ‘Kikuyu aligned’. It bypasses the political riddle that even the masters haven’t solved, imposing a clear winner while trivializing the subject. If you’re from a different tribe, do not be shocked. This is systemic. In youth mobilization, you bring your voice and energy, but most Agikuyu youth bring money, networks, and systemic influence. Once higher education triggers rural-urban migration, they are closer to critical human resources than youth from other regions. They can access their messiah figures easily because they are near the capital city and its environs, often individuals in government, past governments, or the business community. Their totems are more accessible, with well-connected transport networks. It is easier to reach Mt. Kenya than Lake Victoria or Kang’o ka Jaramogi. Their messianic lore is better established, organized, and mainstreamed, having been embedded in curricula and national consciousness. That is why Orengo, for example, speaking to students in Nairobi, invokes Dedan Kimathi rather than Jaramogi Oginga Odinga. We must recognize this reality and learn to live through it, because I’ve seen many from the Kavirondo Gulf suffer, ultimately, all we bring is our voice and presence, giving a national face to systemic jingoism. By the time non-Kikuyu youth realize they’ve been drawn into the tribal agenda of a sinister Kikuyu elite, from ‘Tribeless’ to ‘Niko Kadi’ it is often too late. Hence the stream-of-consciousness videos and posts you see online (this article is one of them btw). The system organizing this version of tribelessness does not care about allure or status. It has accepted that it shall not clinch the presidency in ‘27, but as long as it controls the urban zeitgeist, it remains influential. Baba had mastered this, confronting and collaborating with it when necessary. This is not entirely harmful if you play within its rules. It offers protection and attention; the only cost is ignorance. It is a neat, well-organized tool that does not need to introduce itself. You should not be angry at what you discover when observing well-funded activists and their counterparts in the broken system they claim to dismantle. The system does not break them half as badly as it breaks you. WANTAM does not mean the same thing across the country. Neither does TUTAM, which is the most sustainable remedy to this imbalance, but that is a story for another day. Whether we choose to change it is up to you. You must, however, be aware of this. And it is imperative that these whispered truths are said out loud for the next generation of heroes. Your hearts must not break, but awaken once you realize them.

SHA employs a total of 564 staff. Kalenjin = 100 - 17.7% Somali = 79 - 14% Kikuyu = 68 - 12.1% Kamba = 59 - 10.5% Luhya & Luo = 44 each - 7.8% Kisii = 36 - 64% Meru = 20 3.5% Borana = 16 - 2.8% Maasai = 13 - 2.3% Embu = 7 - 1.2% Gabra & Mijikenda = 6 each - 1.1% 🧵
