Through RPS & ARIVE programs supporting PCVE & other related conflicts, we officially opened the Isiolo BodaBoda Association Office with the goal of raising public awareness about stage registration plates & stage code colors. @denmarkinkenya @theGCERF @tendasasa

One of the ways to enhance security is to promote interactions between security officers & community members in order to create trust & good working relationship as we did in Wajir town, Tarbaj, & Griftu in Wajir county on 29th, 27th & 24th Sept respectively @tendasasa @theGCERF

Local Hawkers, Private Security Firms and Transport/PSV SACCOs are critical community level structures in P/CVE processes. Through ARIVE program @NCTC_Kenya facilitated special training to their representatives on PCVE knowledge and skills, supported by @theGCERF and @tendasasa

1/4: On Tuesday and Wednesday, we had our last annual review meeting for the @USAIDKenya Electoral Conflicts Mitigation and Civic Education Support (ECCES) program ahead of the next phase.

4/4: Some organizations reported improved operations because of, among other factors, the capacity assessment we did for them. Stay tuned for more.

3/4: But here's a sneak preview: in areas where many thought the youth and women won’t show up to cast their ballot, the program contributed to their voting. Several areas were considered hotspots, but the program contributed to abating the poll violence.

On Monday and Tuesday, Act! had an annual review meeting for the Electoral Conflict Mitigation and Civic Education Support (ECCES) program, which @USAIDKenya supports.

Stimulating Inclusion of Vulnerable Women, At-risk Youth & PWD in Governance in Kwale County, focusing on Kinango Sub-county. We engaged Kinango Sub-county stakeholders to develop a working model for enhancing service delivery & accountability of the various actors. @NLinKenya

@KYBI_ke through the RPS Program organized a meeting of criminal justice actors in Lamu Island, Bringing together stakeholders from the judiciary, ODDP office, probation, CSOs, women, and youths to discuss the PCVE context in Lamu county
