Nebraska baseball is 22-6 and it’s only March 28. Last season, Nebraska didn’t get their 22nd win until April 29!

@TheHuskerDepot I haven’t paid attention since before the Iowa game last season. Didn’t watch that game or the bowl game. Didn’t know that Spring practice had started until it was almost over. Been a fan since ‘69. Have become dispassionate.

The lowest turnout for a Nebraska football spring game in over 25 years. Why? 1. March Madness hangover? 2. ​The Weather? (Kickoff was 46° and windy) 3. Habit Disruption? (The spring game was canceled in 2025) 4. Fans have shifted into a "Prove it" mindset? (The kool-aid has run dry)

@Jack_John_Mark Mast, Hoiberg and Lawrence were a combined 2 for 18 in the 2nd half. That was the problem. If they shoot their average that game isn’t close.

Nebraska didn’t lose the game because they had 4 guys on the floor for 2 seconds. Tired of people saying that 😂 We only got 2 buckets between the 9 minute mark and 1 minute mark of the 2nd half. That…..is what lost the game. For crying out loud, that one play wasn’t the game.

@StockTalks21 Huskers almost beat Michigan in Ann Arbor without Mast and Frager. They beat Mich St, split with Illinois and took Purdue to OT before losing by 3. Don’t sleep on them.

If you’re looking at a dark horse here. I continue to think people have completely downplayed how good Nebraska is. An elite defense. A shooter you need to stay glued to. A reliable stretch 5. And one of the best 6th man’s in the country.

Game 1 vs Iowa was absolute sicko basketball. Like… borderline unwatchable garbage hoops. We lost 57-52 at Iowa while: • Going 0-10 from 3 (Mast / Hoiberg / Frager 🤮) • Getting our lunch money stolen on the glass (12-2 OREB) • Watching Iowa shoot 17-18 FT like it was a layup line And we STILL only lost by 5. That wasn’t Iowa beating us. That was us playing like shit. 👇

No other way to say it. Totally embarrassing loss by Florida. You're the reigning champ. You're the 1 seed. You're playing in your home state. Against a 9 seed in Iowa with 12 losses that finished 9th in the Big Ten. You fall behind by 12. You storm back to take the lead. You can't hold it. You give up an open 3 to lose the lead with 4.5 seconds left. You turn the ball over on your last possession and don't even get a shot off. No repeat. No excuse.

@McHargGBR You’re kidding right? Florida would’ve been a nightmare. Two athletic bigs taller than either Reink or Berke. Not thrilled about playing Iowa again but…

Am I the only one who doesn’t like that we will be playing Iowa? I think match up wise, Florida was better for us. Last time we played, we couldn’t seem to run our offense and just seemed so out of sync with what they were throwing at us.

@SkersNews I think of Gary Pinkel at Mizzou. He was pretty awful to average his first five years. Did a little better in yr 6 and then went 12-2, 10-4 and 10-3 in 3 of the next 4 yrs.

Seeing some fans saying Fred is proof we need to be patient with Rhule and give him more time to be successful. Do you agree? Im not sure this is an apples to apples comparison. Nebraska basketball has a fraction of the nil and resources that football gets.

This is for all of us who’ve been watching #Nebrasketball since the Phillips 66 Big 8 Basketball days. Who sat through Barryball. Who hoped for Doc. Who Didn’t sit with Tim. Who’ve believed in Fred. We’ve always been here. We ain’t goin’ nowhere.
