Tage Thompson is struggling immensely and I think the Sabres need to overreact and trade him this summer to the Flyers. It's really the only solution I see at this point.

@WatchMyReview Leafs got absolutely nothing from their 3rd and 4th lines to help take the pressure off the top lines. The top lines needed a winger each to work the boards and corners to get the puck for the skill guys.

As Edna said 5 years ago, the issue was not Mitch OR Auston OR Willy. The issue was the weird kink for useless grinders and "SNOT" and not acquiring GOALS at the deadline to support the core 4. And Edna ALWAYS gets responses that they shouldn't need support. WHAT???? McDavid and Draisaitl are legendary playoff performers and yet Oilers still added far more support to them than Leafs did. Every Leaf loss was due to lack of goals. Then, once season ends no one mentioned goals and it was always about getting tougher. MASSIVE mistake. And to counter another silly argument that will come up: "SKILL" can definitely be cheaper than our overpaid, useless grinders. Complete untrue myth that Leafs didn't have "Cap". The leafs added EXACTLY who fans/media screamed for.

I'm not saying the Flyers will do this, but... Theoretically... One could offer sheet Adam Fantilli to $9.25M while CBJ has $8.7M of cap space. The compensation would be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round pick. Which isn't crazy.

@LeafsGuy7 100% agree. They were just gifted a top six winger THIS year for free and have two superstars and a power forward on the roster. I’ve heard “experts” say asking for a Boston turnaround is not possible? I’m like what??? Look at the rosters. And Chayka hasn’t even started yet

Boy a lot of people are sleeping on how big of a rebound Toronto can have next year. They’re not anywhere near as bad as many think & with the right coach, win now is very possible.
