@Thana_Enosys Is Defillama (through Enosys Loans fees) the best place to see the frequency and magnitude of Enosys Loan redemptions?

Just a little note here about Redemptions on Enosys Loans, given the extreme market volatility: Redemptions can be performed at any time, as long as the redeemer is willing to pay the redemption fee. That means that any time a bot can buy CDP with USDT0, redeem it (with the fee), and sell the redeemed collateral for more USDT0 than it started with, it will do so. So, if FTSO prices are moving much faster than the dex is being arbitraged, then there may be times where it is profitable to redeem that are not directly related to the price of CDP vs USDT0, but instead related to the price of USDT0 onchain itself based in wflr and fxrp price. With the current state of the market seeing such violent price movements, there will be times that this happens. This redemption arbitrage is what helps CDP keep its peg, or restores the peg if it is lost. Yes, this is the primary 'risk' of using your assets as collateral in Loans, but that risk is why there are incentives. Remember, we use incentives to help reduce overall risk, especially in places where risk is higher at smaller scale. However, if you were redeemed against, you basically sold your collateral for at least 0.5% more than it was worth at the time. And, given the consistent downtrend in prices lately, you can now likely buy back that collateral using the CDP you minted for a small profit. Just FYI, this is why I tried to warn our users to take the opportunity to deleverage a month ago when CDP temporarily dropped to $0.98.

@lockedinsnow @HollanderCooper @agraybee "Cod", by Mark Kurlansky. Quick read, but very interesting perspective of history that should be more well known. Highly recommend.

Everything Price Sufferer (but especially eggs)
English town names tell a lot of history. Anything ending in -caster, -cester or -chester was a Roman fort. -bury and -borough are Saxon forts. If it ends in -by it was settled by vikings (by is still the Swedish and Norwegian word for village.) -ford is a river crossing.

A fun facet of Chinese is that many city names are semantically legible as normal text instead of just as names. Shanghai = On the Sea Beijing = North Capital Shenzhen = Deep Ditch Fuzhou = Happy City Americans are used to names just being names. What the heck is a "York"?

Serious question: has anyone who didn't previously drink much water find a way to build the habit long-term? If so, what worked?

@JustinTarquin @memcculloch Yes, I've always understood information to be defined (and calculable) as a reduction in uncertainty.

@memcculloch I would have thought of that as an increase of information. A particle’s position was unspecified and now it’s specified. The list of particle-positions needed to define the universe’s state now has another entry.

The quantum mechanical wavefunction must represent, not a thing, but a potential future. When it collapses, that represents a loss of potential futures, a loss of information, and so heat should be released.

I've said this internally 8 months ago, but IMO LLMs are not going to be constructing blockchain transactions. Intents networks are superior systems for execution. Thus any "trading agent" not plugging into an execution network is DOA.

@beyond_broke What is the primary reason that you suggest setting up a protective structure before asset appreciation?

Timing is everything. Set up protective structures before your assets appreciate. Bonus tip: Consider a tax year ending Sept. 30 instead of Dec. 31 for added flexibility. Give yourself enough lead time to get accounts and entities in place. 8/12🧵

It's important to have a plan for managing wealth after digital asset appreciation We've already seen substantial growth for people holding #XRP, #XLM, #HBAR, #ALGO, #ADA #XDC and more. Here are some strategies to help on the other side of price appreciation. 1/12🧵

@TUnderground_ @xrpmickle @SMQKEDQG The problem is that it takes effort to discover and understand because Ripple isn't out there trying to sell engage retail. Just some honest FYI. 3/3

@TUnderground_ @xrpmickle @SMQKEDQG smaller than the institutional space. That's why so many retailer "investors" think Ripple/XRP is just vaporware and unused. The reality is so shockingly different. 2/3

@TUnderground_ And I'll just add, Ripple's focus has been solely on institutions (institutional DeFi) because of the ma$$ive opportunity there that dwarfs retail (ie us). So you are not aware of what has been going on with Ripple because we are just noise to them and not a priority.

@TUnderground_ A proper answer to your question is beyond the scope of a Twitter response. Ripple/xrp is now deeply embedded in the global financial infrastructure and is the tech that will move value (ie derivatives, not just "money") just like the internet now moves data. 1/2

This region of the U.S. ( "fucking paradise") is poised to experience (1) expansion as people realize flyover country is real and (2) the largest positive vibe increases in the coming century. There is no more impressive U.S. grouping than Carlsbad, La Jolla, and Encinitas.

I made a video explaining why XRP will never be $20,000 (in todays purchasing power) because there's literally not enough money in existence to bid up the price that much. Multiple people in my comments section were rude and told me I'm stupid. Their logic? If Bitcoin could reach $20,000 it makes no sense that another coin, XRP, couldn't do it. Such undeserved confidence these people have. They clearly don't understand a very basic concept: The circulating supply of XRP is *literally* somewhere around 5,000 times greater than the circulating supply of Bitcoin. Even if I told them that, would they understand why that matters? Maybe not. I guess the concept o supply & demand is too complex. It's always the small brain people who are the loudest though, right? I know almost everyone watching my videos knows better than to believe in $20,000 XRP. Most people know it's wrong to pretend $20,000 XRP is a reasonable idea to get clicks. Of course. And that's why I tear down the bullshit idea. But still my comments section is littered with rude, idiotic comments. Why? As is typically the case in life: The idiots are louder than the knowledgeable folks. If it were just people seeking to learn, if it were people engaging in civil discourse, I'd welcome the opposing perspective with open arms. But that's not what's going on here. There are screaming mouth-breathers present. These people are emotionally charged. Thanks to the rest of you though! 94.6% of you hit like instead of dislike (so far), so even if you're quiet... I know you're there, and I know we're on the same page. 😉
