As stablecoins become regulated under the same supervisory framework as traditional payments, the need for compliant financial infrastructure has never been greater. Excited to see our portfolio company, @CoinflowLabs, powering MPP Credits on Tempo's Machine Payments Protocol. As AI agents increasingly become economic actors, payment infrastructure will need to support autonomous, machine-speed transactions, which Coinflow makes possible by connecting traditional payment rails with instant stablecoin settlement. Additionally, Mastercard's Agent Pay for Machines announcement this week highlights the growing momentum behind agentic commerce, and Coinflow was named as a participant in the initiative. Both partnerships are another sign that the infrastructure for machine-to-machine payments is starting to take shape and being spearheaded by Coinflow.

CMT partner Sam Hallene runs through two portfolio companies pushing real-world credit onchain: Figure, and SBA lender Newity On Figure: "Yes, they'll give you a really aggressively priced HELOC... but their end goal is not to be a HELOC originator. It's to disrupt the capital markets and be a key linchpin in this evolution of capital markets that we're going into." On Newity: "The SBA has a 7(a) program that allows you to originate small business loans and actually get pretty nice cost advantages on those types of loans, because the government backs a portion of the loan, which allows the lender to lend a bit more aggressively." "These are really attractive assets with the government guarantee, and Newity's plan with several partners is to distribute these onchain.
