YTD returns crossed over 500% today.
Despite significant macro sell off due to Iran war.
And with no margin.
Pretty sure I'm outperforming people that charge $5k+ per year for research and technical signals?
Some of the big YTD drivers:
> AI supply chain bottlenecks make up the bulk e.g. $LITE, $COHR, $AAOI, $AXTI, $TSEM, $IQE, $SOI, $AEHR
> $SNDK and Samsung; with rocketing memory prices/supply constraints
> Other random momentum trades like $SATL, $SIDU; front running the SpaceX IPO
I plan on sharing more of my thought process going forwards like I have this week with some Taiwanese/Space stocks.
Still very new to X, but I'm getting more accustomed to sharing my thoughts. Please bear with me!
Let me know if you have any questions though, always happy to answer as many as I can. I'm enjoying interacting with you all :)
(And no, I do not have any paid discords or signal services, those are all scams. All my ideas and thoughts will be posted right here on @X)
Swapped my $BE stock for $NBIS this morning
Just 750 shares
I expect these to move in a similar manner but $NBIS has clear strength at the moment with recent $META deal and $NVDA investment
Still love $BE and will likely get back in but could see $BE getting to $70 before I can see $NBIS to $50
Wife calls me all paranoid saying it was $101 to fill up her Porsche. IT’S NORMALLY $80 DOLLARS AND NOW ITS OVER $100 AND I DID’T EVEN FILL IT UP ALL THE WAY!
Me: I’m like Buy a Tesla.
Her: They are ugly.
Me: So is the gas bill.
Me: Pick your ugly lol
Yeah…I’m on the couch for sure tonight or guest bedroom lol
@guyfelicella The only way to stop the madness is to get a PC government in. Not sure which way you lean- there are time Canada needs a liberal government and there are times Canada needs a Progressive - right now we need a PC government more than you know
Anyone else fed up with being squeezed every time you leave the house?
Gas. Groceries. Everything.
I’m spending an extra $160 a month on gas alone just to go to work.
Unbelievable.
Why isn't a SINGLE Right-winger in Canada calling Trump out for:
- Starting a trade war with Canada
- Starting an illegal war with Iran
- Being in the Epstein files
I'm genuinely curious?!
The past 3 months have been the worst stock market environment I’ve ever witnessed.
Insanely choppy.
The dip never stops dipping.
No assets are safe.
It’s getting old.
@babyfolio Yep these are definitively long term bets, just think they may not be this cheap again and this whole geo political debacle shows how important energy sovereignty is, only makes nuclear core thesis stronger
@linzy_long_hold Every Saturday on my gym rest day- I do alternating cold plunge- to hot tub- to cold plunge- to sauna. I know the benefits- but boy do I hate doing it! 😂
Daily Health tip… the cold plunge
Cold exposure isn’t just about mental toughness.
When you hit cold water, your body goes into an acute stress response:
→ Rapid activation of the sympathetic nervous system
→ Norepinephrine spikes (can increase 200–300%)
→ Blood vessels constrict (vasoconstriction) to preserve core temp
That’s why you feel instantly alert.
But here’s where it gets powerful…
Your body adapts:
→ Improved mitochondrial efficiency (better energy production)
→ Increased brown fat activation (helps burn calories + regulate temp)
→ Reduced baseline inflammation over time
→ Dopamine rises and stays elevated for hours (not a quick crash like caffeine)
You’re literally training your system to handle stress better.
Start small:
30–60 seconds post-shower.
If you can, jump in a cold plunge!
I sold 5 $IREN cash secured puts today at the strike price of $36.5.
The premium was great there, 1% return on your capital in one week.
I would also love to own $IREN at this price, so this works for me either way
I need:
$BMNR under $30
$AMZN under $240
$MSTR under $200
$MSTR over $110
To capture!!
$1,886,100 in premiums!
5/15 expiry on all
4/17 expiry on BMNR
Think it happens?
@cdntradegrljenn Do you not so have a TFSA and RRSP for long term as well or do you run daily trading in them as well? I wish I had time to daybtrade- closest I come is buying CSPs on red days
I’ve tried every form of investing and in the end my trading has come full circle. I’m back to day trading and closing positions to cash daily. For me, this is the most effective form of investing.
There’s a stress free life in sitting in cash every single night. I have rare drawdowns and waking up to a red market is exciting. It’s like awakening to a Black Friday sale with an abundant bank account.
Following this one rule has helped to exponentially grow my account… and I sleep.
@NotA_Bull If I hadn't bought a house in my 20s I would not be a millionaire today. The home equity allowed me to buy my first company. Without that I would not be an entrepreneur and still be working for others. Buy the house and don't be silly.
