Clonal hematopoiesis in solid tumors matters! I am so excited to share that my postdoctoral work studying the ways in which TET2-mutant macrophages can improve response to immune checkpoint therapy is out now at @Cancer_Cell! cell.com/cancer-cell/fu…

Collaborative work online now @CellStemCell provides insight into how mutant immune cells can help mitigate Alzheimer’s disease. Tet2-mutant myeloid cells are able to infiltrate the brain and clear β-amyloid, slowing cognitive decline. cell.com/cell-stem-cell…

Thrilled to be part of an epigenetic myeloid story in glioblastoma so artfully told by @SGoswamiMDPhD and @PamSharmaMDPhD. Looking forward to the new therapeutic avenues that are much needed for this terrible disease. @UCalgary @MDAndersonNews

Early stages of glioblastoma (GBM) progression is poorly understood. The strategy of combining clonal tracing and transcriptomic analyses by Ceresa et al. revealed insights into GBM evolution that were previously inaccessible using conventional retrospective approaches. Unexpectedly, a high incidence of clonal extinction events and progressive divergence in clonal sizes was observed, even after the malignant phenotype acquisition. Clone-based competition was identified as the driver of clonal loss based on computational analyses. @Cancer_Cell Aug 2023 cell.com/cancer-cell/fu…
