People almost never talk about these books at all because they seem to be nothing but the prologue to LOTF so absolutely nothing could have prepared me for the amount of time they spend whining about a made up Jedi Order that does not exist in NJO in these.

Should probably put out a disclaimer and say that I’m not really a fan of a big creative decision this book makes, nor am I personally a fan of how Karen Traviss wrote that particular choice. It honestly felt so bizarre and kinda just came out of nowhere.
LOTF certainly isn’t as great as NJO, but has had its moments for sure. But this book wasn’t my favorite, and the pacing also wasn’t that great. But I can’t help but see where the story and these characters go from here.
The ‘woah’ was more unexpected than complimentary, if anything.

@Calbar1879 @Luke_Maxxing The resurrection of Palpatine would constitute as a “radical change to Star Wars” continuity and would first have to be observed and approved by George Lucas; as anything. This is significant because George killed Palpatine. He approved it overall, otherwise it wouldn’t exist.
