On Episode 71 of Going Rogue with Lara Logan, Lara confronts one of the most difficult questions facing our justice system today.
What do you do with violent individuals who are mentally ill?
If they commit a crime, they’re charged and sent to prison but prisons aren’t equipped to treat serious mental illness. If they’re released, communities may be put at risk. And if they end up on the streets, the cycle of homelessness, suffering, and violence often continues.
Lara discusses how the system has failed on every level from underfunded mental health care to overcrowded prisons forced to manage people they were never designed to help.
Even those inside the system admit the truth: there are no easy answers.
It’s a broken system caught between compassion and public safety and too often, both are lost.

I want to take a moment to say this real quick. I want to thank all my followers. Small, medium, and large for standing up for me yesterday when I was being attacked left and right.
I was accused of being a bot and using automation. (Even though I do spaces, and I dont use automated responses. You can tell by how many errors I have at times. Plus, I am not tech savvy, so I'm not sure how to do it.)
I was accused of using a team to run my account. (Nope, sweet cheeks, just me)
I was accused of taking money and working for foreign governments. (Nope, stay at home mom. America First)
I was accused of engagement groups. Nope, again, just me. I repost who I want when I want. (This also counts as your posts, as does replies)
My looks were attacked. Don't care. Somebody is trying to dox me again. It's not cool. People posting impersonations of me and acting like that is ME. It's not. Making fun of personal stories I have shared. Oh, well.
So many horrible things said. Yet, to my surprise, my followers stood beside me. I'm used to tackling the BS on my own. So, for every single person that I didn't get to thank or see, THANK YOU.
I never expected that, and I truly appreciate you all.
You guys are what makes X enjoyable. The rest well... they can suck democrat donkey balls.
