@Martyupnorth Bummer. Thats Federal property son. Get off our land. You are not welcome.

I am 100% Albertan and 1000% Canadian. The Cowboy #Separatists can NEVER compose a National Anthem that tops O’Canada.
NOT EVER !!

@joansview @PeggyMaca @acoyne Within the context of the public education you brought up, there are typically standards. So in this regard I would say overall the answer should be a resounding yes.
English

@CaloriePowered @PeggyMaca @acoyne Are you saying that every single resident of Alberta is exactly like you, that there is zero individuality in your oh-so-great province?
English

"Its" wealth?
Among the most absurd assumptions in this whole surreal debate is the idea that Alberta, in the vanishingly unlikely event that it was ever permitted to detach itself from Canada, would depart with its entire current territory — including the parts with the oil.
There is zero possibility of this, and even less legitimacy to it. The provinces control natural resources under the constitution of Canada — but under the constitution of Canada, and as provinces of Canada. The minute they cease to be under the constitution, they cease to enjoy any of its guarantees.

@3lfares The French lost the war. That's why everything else in Canada is in English.

@anniedufour99 A pipeline is nothing but a symbol of a start. It really doesn't carry as much signifigance as the media portrays.
English

The Liberal government you hate so much gave Alberta a pipeline. And what incentive would it have to "campaign against Alberta". None. A federal party wants more votes, not less. It wants national unity, not national division. #cdnpoli #abpoli #polqc
Courtney Theriault@cspotweet
When asked if she will actively campaign for Alberta to remain in Canada, Conservative MP Michelle Rempel Garner says she has been actively campaigning for the last ten years- ever since the federal Liberals began actively campaigning against Alberta.

@59years_of_gray @LoriSigurdson How many of these jobs were created by recycled tax dollars and are by companies related to Brookfield? We can do even better than the stats say.
English

@LoriSigurdson NDP 2015-2019
$153 Billion in lost Capital investment.
8 Oil companies move to the States.
180,000 lost jobs
5 credit downgrades.
Record $81 Billion debtload
UCP 2023-2026
$125 Billion in NEW investment
285,000 new jobs
4 credit upgrades
Only $9 Billion in new debt.
Sure. 🙄

The UCP are doing significant harm to Alberta’s economy by pushing this separatist agenda.
Rhiannon Hoyle@RhiHoyleYEG
The Premier wants to run a separatist referendum solely to save her political skin, even if it means seriously hurting Alberta's economy. We've seen the UCP drive away billions in investment before. They're willing to do it again to suit their political agenda. #ableg #abpoli

@yegwave "Economic uncertainty" from the economic hitman himself. Canada didn't elect a Liberal majority yet here we are.
English

If there was a vote tomorrow on who should help lead the Alberta independence conversation and educate people on the path forward, who would you trust more?
Jeff Rath or Keith Wilson?
This movement needs strong leadership, clear direction, and people who can explain the process without turning Albertans against each other.
Drop your pick below.

English

@Reil76 That all depends on the course of Canada. With the currently occurring economic hit job in Canada, support won't decrease... So who knows.
English

Honest question for Alberta separatists:
What’s the plan if the referendum fails?
Not being sarcastic. This is a real strategic question that any serious independence movement needs to answer before it gets on the ballot. What’s the threshold you’d accept as decisive? What happens to the movement the day after a No vote? Does Alberta walk away from the table, or does this become a generational campaign?
The Quebec playbook took decades and two referendums. Is that the timeline you’re signing up for? Because voters deserve to know what they’re actually being asked before they vote.
English

@ellaella963 @CanadianPolling Anybody from Quebec will tell you how corrupt it is.
English

@CanadianPolling Just like the Qc’s Separatists. They’re still crying about ‘rigged’ referendums.
English

@JeffCallaway @CanadianPolling Election results are put to the electorate every other time, logically this would be the same, no?
English

BS poll question. As credible as "Are you getting your fair share?"
Y: 0%
N: 100%.
Poll sample: everyone.
People never think they are getting their fair share. Leading question.
How about: If 25% of the electorate petition to vote on a subject, should government put the question to the entire electorate?
English

@SSJSOC @GunloverClub1 I don't understand what they are practicing, aside from not flagging each other.
English

@GunloverClub1 I've been seeing this drill, and its insane, anyone that would think about it...is fucking insane.
One look, these guys are already scared shit going into it, as they should be.
Does anyone have one positive thought on this drill...!?
English

@aberzimbabwe @PardyBruce We need to exhaust our options in a certain order.
English

@PardyBruce Anyone who believes Alberta can vote its way out of Canada is dreaming.
