I’ll say it… I have no clue who George Gervin is or was in regard to basketball. 🏀 I’m not the biggest NBA fan but I’ve never even heard of him before all of this “Iceman” nonsense. Not sure why the uproar in regards to Caleb Williams attempting to make a business decision that it sounds like Gervin should have attempted before. @DefiantLs I’m retired. My house is paid for. I still pay taxes on SS, my husband’s pension, and our savings interest. Tell me that’s fair! We paid into SS, taxed for every $ paid into pension and our retirement earnings, along with property tax!

2 things can be true! Christine Brennan has been a pioneer in journalism. However, she was aware of what she was doing pushing a particular narrative and knows better. She should have a REAL conversation & LISTEN to the Black women who play in the W about why it is problematic.
