Thanks to @CaptFella we found one: Bear Stearns. So corporate action gurus, what similarities could Bear Stearns have to 20230930-DK-BUTTERFLY-1, INC. and the current BBBY that issued warrants ~9 months ago?

empirasign.com/all-issues/Bed… The recent backend update renaming the bond profiles to DKBFLY reveals a massive technical tell. EmpiraSign data now explicitly maps legacy BBBY, OSTK, and the new DKBFLY notes ('24, '34, '44) within the exact same security hierarchy... 🚀

Jake2b's future entrance theme song, when he goes on tour was written in 2003. I had to include the lyrics, as I couldn't believe it myself. The story being told in the song, only gets better. The man has no fear. Even Bobby can't hold him back.

Kirkland securities attorney says on her experience page that she prepared the HBC equity raise for $BBBYQ. six months later the same attorney is submitting a preferred stock conversion (from that raise) as part of a Section 363 Asset Sale. it really is that simple.

This update for DK🦋 bonds strategically triggers an automatic stay, freezing the "Scheduled payment" & "Grace period" to halt cash burn. This precise technical maneuver paves the way for a Chap 11 debt-for-equity swap, wiping the balance sheet clean for a massive reverse merger!

For @ReadyfortheRun's sake. He better hope he is not lying. Because Bloomberg @technology has a criminal reputation that precedes them. Funny start and stop dates on their GameStop reporting, line up perfecting leading into January 28th, 2021, and ended before Ryan Cohen's efforts at GameStop turned losses into profit. The last eight quarters worth. Damn.. Talk about timing. Just like the timing of Ken Griffin's debt securitization LLC's set up in Delaware on January 15, 2021. Citadel KW Melvin Holdings. As if they were getting ready for something. I already checked, Ken's grandpa isn't named Melvin, but the Plot thickens, because you know whose does. And there was not just one LLC set up to securitize debt, there were and still are, three. Just ask U.S. Bank Trust. Or web search them up, you'll find it. But in case you have problems spelling, here is a link for two of them. An attractive way to remove Debt from the Citadel balance sheet. It is that easy to make losses appear as if they broke even. Financial magicians they are. But when it comes to mismarking millions of trades worth billions of dollars as either short or long, they appear to fail miserably. Eight years ago, that meant prison time, just look that case up. Today, and just before November 2024, a one million dollar FINRA fine makes the PhD in Physics fat finger programming mistake fly off and go away. trustinvestorreporting.usbank.com/TIR/public/dea…

@Tusk_4Real You can buy MS Pro Duo adapter cards for SD cards. I have one in my PSP. If I remember correctly, the MS Pro Duo caps fairly low in regards to storage space.

I'm seeing many people having a hard time understanding why Sony would make a number of unpopular "anti-consumer" moves in rapid sequence. You need to realize it's because you are no longer the consumer. If you are one of the few who doesn't have a completely fried attention span, I can explain a bit of what's actually going on and why technology feels like shit now. Many of us living through this shift grew up during a time when new tech felt exciting. Gaming consoles, arcade games, computers, and other devices were targeted directly at us, and evolution was rapid. Consumerism was always present, but so was abundant creativity, and companies’ stated goal was to generate profit by providing ways to make life more entertaining and enriching; marketing creative, innovative technology to own, maintain, and use. With the rise of the Internet, this focus began to shift. Attention became the new commodity, as did the control of information. Engineering machines became less important than social engineering, and we became the product rather than the market. Aesthetic design, reparability, and functionality became pointless; none of that is required to extract information from you on an industrial scale. The result of this shift is what we're beginning to see openly now: centralization via AI, mass surveillance, and ownership of absolutely nothing. This new model is built on profiling the most efficient ways to lock you into a maze of subscription services and endless debt, while giving you the means to distract yourself just enough to never become a threat to these objectives. Understand that Sony is not doing anything here other than following the blueprint that many other tech companies and governments have drafted. They know it’s wildly unpopular, which is why the gaslighting is required. It’s why Sony’s short announcement of ending physical media uses the term, "As consumer preferences change..." four times. It’s to convince you that you have no choice, and that all of this is just technological determinism at work. Technological determinism is a scam. You still have a free will choice. All you need to do is stop investing your time and money into a system that has zero benefit to you, and instead start enjoying older technology and tools that you can use and maintain; or even more importantly, support new stuff built like the old stuff was. Once enough “product” (i.e. you) is removed from the marketplace, it will cease to be useful to the people who built it. The machine will seize, and we can start making a lot of really cool things again. That’s all that is required. In the words of Ferris Bueller, "The question isn't, 'What are we going to do?' The question is 'What aren't we going to do?'” So, what aren't you going to do?

Those of you who were around for the DVD v. Divx format war back 1998 will know that I was warning disc fans about this problem all the way back then: The Hollywood studios, networks, record labels, and streamers—not to mention the game industry and Silicon Valley tech companies at large—don’t want you to own ANYTHING. They want you to rent or lease it from them... forever. They want endless automatic withdraw hooks sunk deep into your bank accounts, and they want to distract you with apps and algorithms so you forget they’re even there. They don’t want you to become homeowners—they want you to be eternal renters. And the products and services they rent you will be just fine... until they aren’t anymore, because someone figured out how to make 2% more profit off you, so they enshittify the thing you liked, rented, or God forbid needed to the point you don’t even recognize it anymore. Now, AI companies are getting in on the act too. Hey, you don’t need to form your own startup or business to compete with ours—just use our platform! Want to write a book, make a movie, record a song—just use our tools! You don’t need to actually write it yourself, or know how to play music, or even think! Hell, you don’t need a job either—who wants to work? Or make your own choices? Or you know, vote? We’ll do all that for you! Just enjoy what we give you and like it... or else. Human beings everywhere need to push back on this shit and hard, or you, your kids, and your grandkids are going to end up living as digital serfs in a technofeudal fascist state led by Ayn Rand-ian, anti-social, nerd-prince, hyper-scalers with messiah complexes and control fetishes, who will absolutely use misaligned AI, drones, humanoid robots, and their already total invasion of your privacy to enforce their weirdo whims on everyone. And you think I’m kidding, but deep down you know I’m right. These people talk about wanting to save humanity—particularly all the potential “future generations” as yet unborn (ten to the power of fifty-eight!)—but it’s funny how most of them can’t be bothered suffer or actually care much about the annoying humans they’re stuck with right now, who they tend to refer to as “mids” or “takers” or merely NPCs in a reality simulation game that’s actually all about them. These guys dream taking control of the world via their homegrown Buy-n-Large, Omni Consumer, and Weyland-Yutani C-corps, while incurring no liability whatsoever for their actions. ‘Cause China, Star Trek future, the bad people—you know, reasons! Meanwhile, most folks just want to go to a decent job, earn a decent wage, have kids or provide for their families, then come home to a house they’ve worked hard for, cook burgers with the neighbors, watch a movie on a disc they actually own, and maybe take the boat out for the weekend. And they’d like to drink water that doesn’t poison them, eat food that doesn’t have microplastic in it, and breathe air that doesn’t give them cancer. Mark my words: Those two dreams are ultimately not compatible. To be very clear: I’m an American, and a patriot. I am in no way a doomsayer, nor am I anti-technology. To the contrary, I think the power of our technology to make the future better for all of us is extraordinary. But not if it comes at the cost of surrendering everything that makes us human in the first place, and giving up everything that makes life worth living. What I am against is greedy unelected narcissists who’ve become far too powerful, via corporations that have been allowed to become too big to fail, who’ve hijacked capitalism to the point that we don’t even have free markets anymore, and who’ve used their wealth to hijack democracy to the point that we’ve lost most of our actual freedoms. And there ain’t nothing American about that. 2/2

$GME x $EBAY As most of my followers already know, I'm a huge game collector and media preservationist, so this whole digital only thing is something I feel I have to touch on from personal experience. This is likely going to be a long one so I'll leave a tl;dr at the bottom. As you may or may not know, I used to work for a retro game store years ago. While I did work the front, I mostly did console repairs and hardware mods since I had a knack for it and the guy who owned the shop (a good friend of mine now) actually came to me asking if I wanted a 2nd job doing that on the weekends since I was already doing it for people from Facebook groups. Fast forward a few years, we started our own game convention which is now on year 10 (damn I'm old). With being both a collector of games, obscure hardware and never really ever selling any of it (while I did trade and sell doubles I came across), this whole digital only really irks me. This will only create a larger niche group which will translate into higher prices YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT. The retro/physical gaming world isn't going anywhere and the egregious revolking of digital game and music rights will only get worse. Maybe you don't care about it, you download your game, play it, move on to the next thing. That's fine, if you're good with spending potentially $70-$80 for something that Mr. big corporation can take away from you because it has a 2sec clip of a song that copyright ownership expired on or changed hands, if you're cool with that... great. I'm not. How do you combat this? Like everything else... with your wallet. They've done this digital only push before. I REALLY wanted to play Alan Wake 2 because I absolutely loved the original, then Remedy announced it was going to be digital only. Did I bend and buy it? Nope. Then all sorts of articles came out about how it wasn't meeting sales expectations etc etc and they really couldn't figure out why. Well... guess what? After they released all the DLC they then did a physical release, one with ALL the content on it no less. Huzzah! I bought it. It just goes to show, if you hit big corporate in the wallet and stand your ground, they will be the ones to bend. Every. Single. Time. tl;dr The physical gaming world isn't going anywhere, retro gaming prices are going to explode. If you don't believe in the practice of something, don't buy it. Oh yeah and sometimes your hobbies and interests can make you money you weren't expecting:
