@MidwestGolfJake My best is 3 birdies in a row and did it in a final round to win a 2-man best ball. Most in a round is 5. My son had 10 birdies in route to a 64.

Follow-up to Lydia Ko making 12 birdies in a single round yesterday. What is your personal best for birdies in a round? And what is your longest birdie streak? Mine is 7 birdies (twice). My longest streak of birdies is 3 in a row, many times.

Work trip to Harbour Town Golf Links. Course was in 10 out of 10 conditions. Hard, fair and fun. Definitely will play it again.

@BodgeCalanni That’s awesome! I recently played Old Tabby which I enjoyed. My son belongs to a club in Indianapolis and a member he knows belongs to Old Tabby. Chechessee Creek is on my list to play along with Sucession. So many great courses in this area to play.

@Carmack64 I am blessed to be at Chechessee Creek Club so it gets me down there at least a half dozen times a year plus a family trip. Definitely going to be my retirement area.

Which hole would you most want to play at Augusta National Golf Club?

I love this. A guy I’ve known for 25 years shot his first under par round of golf today. 1 under 71. At 69 years old. He’s been playing his whole life, and after all these years, the game gave him another moment he’ll never forget. Greatest game there is!

@Carmack64 @JStewGolf I’m a member. It’s the Olympic Club. We’ve hosted multiple US Opens, Amateurs, the PGA is coming in ‘27 and the Ryder Cup in ‘33. We have two amazing 18 hole courses along with one of the best, 9 hole Par 3’s. Oh, and the weather doesn’t suck (except for the summer).

If you belonged to a country club and the range was in this condition, would you complain?

@BryanTweed16 @GolfTravelerJoe Completely agree it’s overpriced now. My son played a Jr Golf Tournament there 12 years ago and I played a practice with him at a cost of $275. Was definitely worth that price.

@GolfTravelerJoe Yes. The entire course is pedestrian from a cost standpoint, but if everyone keeps paying it, then I can’t judge. It’s just not even close to being a $900 golf course.

Question for those of you who have played Sawgrass. I have heard a few people call the front nine pedestrian, thoughts?
