If you’re an autistic guy, regardless of what the magnitude of your condition is, this is basically how every classmate, coworker, person you attempt to befriend or woman is going to view you for your entire life - an adult infant. You could hold down a 40 hour a week job, drive, invest, go to the gym - And you’ll still notice people asking you bizarre questions or making odd statements to your face which they wouldn’t make towards anyone else. Statistically, autists virtually always fail the ‘first 10 seconds’ and prospective friends and love interests they meet near instantly lose interest in association with them, some of that may just be genuine evo-psych stuff about not wanting to date someone who is visibly disabled. The fact that the suicidality of people in this demographic isn’t in the high double digits is a massive testament to their mental fortitude.

@aean0x @bee_fumo Proton is getting there but cracking the code for Linux gaming is the whole kernel level anti cheat kerfuffle. And mod loaders like MO2 being easier to use without having to fiddle with proton
