Thank you. The important part is zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. Best way to put money in someone’s pocket is to not take it out in the first place. Bottom half is only 3% of total tax revenue. But it’s very meaningful to that person. Zero it out.

Facts It's great that Jeff Bezos thinks this way, because too many people who don't make money think that giving money to the government will solve a lot of their problems. They think these government programs are the answer, and it's clearly not. You can look at the federal level or at the state level, and you will see that a lot of government programs are simply waste.

The evidence from Britain and Canada suggests there is a political point of no return on the issue of migration.
A government can absolutely slash migration, even take it negative, but at some point its no longer potent politically.
Canadian polling is a good example of this.
Migration is basically 0 in net terms, but when asked if migration is too high, a majority of Canadians still say yes, migrant Canadians still say yes.
At some point the well is poisoned and support for migration experiences long term lasting damage.
How close we are that to Australia, I don't know.
