The visit allowed the Minister and Victims’ Commissioner to hear from our practitioners and victims on proposed Victims’ Code changes. Our team shared frontline insight on how the proposals may land and how they can better support victims day to day.

Today we were proud to host a joint visit to our Leicestershire @Victim1st service from @AlexDaviesJones , Minister for Victims and VAWG, and Claire Waxman @voice4victims, the Victims’ Commissioner for England and Wales.

@Shell Close partnership between government, employers, education, and the third sector is required for the Youth Guarantee to succeed and increase young people’s life chances and social mobility.

Catch22 welcomes the announcement made by @patmcfaddenmp that Gov is expanding the Youth Guarantee to 24-year-olds, a change we’ve long called for. Expanding apprenticeship units, including in the energy transition sector, will open vital routes to stable, future-proof jobs.

Short-term pots won’t meet young people’s needs, but with guidance, strong networks and real investment, the sector can create robust digital infrastructure.

Yesterday, we welcomed @AlexDaviesJones MP, Minister for Victims and Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls, and Kate Green, @DeputyMayorofGM to our Greater Manchester Victims’ Service (GMVS).
