What happened before the X1.4 flare?

As I discussed in last night's livestream, on the 26th and 28th early am UTC time we had significant flares from sunspot 4405. I put out a forecast that we may see significant solar flare from 4405 following that 48 hour rhythm and we did. Will it happen again on April 1st??

Whenever I go to IHOP, I always try to get the senior discount by identifying as 55+.

The coronal hole immediately west of the active region and CME source may block most of the ejecta from being directed our way, but we will see what coronagraphs + models have to say about that theory... just an FYI that the neighboring CH makes this complex.

Very large and wide CME currently being ejected along with the ongoing X-flare from AR 4405. While not directed squarely at Earth, there is a chance for a glancing blow from this eruption most likely. Very impressive eruption and CME! Here is SUVI 284 Å showing the blast wave.
