@SteveNomadic I knew (hope I'm not speaking in the past tense) the FAA DAR based in Brussels that travelled to the factory once a month to endorse those airplanes...he didn't have a bad word to say about them.

It would bring Omega Air Refueling – a private, US based company – up to a fleet of 15 tankers. The Saudis & Russians have about 22 & 18, respectively. The French have 15, UK has 9 (can surge to 14), Italy 8, Canada 6, etc.. The U.S. has around 600.

That's a problem right there! During climb, outside air pressure drops rapidly. If a fuel tank were completely sealed, the higher pressure inside could force the tank outward-causing deformation, cracks, or even structural damage. During descent, the opposite happens: outside pressure increases, so air must enter the tank to equalize pressure and prevent the tank from collapsing inward. That's why aircraft fuel tanks are designed to "breathe" through fuel tank vent system. 📹: airtexas7

Here is a personal video from my ride with the @BlueAngels We had a great time giving a couple of ships a cool view. Julius "Whiskers" Bratton was the Blues pilot and did an amazing job. I managed to not pass out or get sick. 7 plus Gs with no G suit is a freaking challenge.

We just paid 7k to purchase carbon credits for the few flights we did in the UK in 2025. Cost 3-5K just to have a company report and manage the credit scheme on our behalf. Thats the UK, we have to do same for EU and we have 10 times the flights there. Does anyone really think this crap reduces carbon? It’s a tax revenue for govts and money making scheme for the companies selling carbon credits.

True. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) begins requiring airlines operating internationally (not domestic flights) to purchase Carbon Credits under the Carbon Offsetting & Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA) in 2027. You can look it up.
