I’ve tried calling you and texting you multiple times since the February 9th hearing on antisemitism which you and Bishop Barron were absent from. I wished to discuss this with you privately. But again, unfortunately, you’ve provided zero response to me.
However, today, you publicly made the post which I am replying to now.
You have publicly stated that you agree with Bishop Barron’s recently issued statements wholeheartedly.
Please answer this question: Why did you say to me in person on September 8th 2025, at 8:26 in the morning, “if they are going to remove you for your support of the Palestinians in Gaza, then they will try to remove me too”?
I explained to you at this meeting, that I was being asked to resign from the commission by the White House at the behest of our colleague’s Paula White and Dan Patrick. You expressed that you were shocked I was asked to resign in August because of my Catholic position on Zionism, and outspoken support of innocent human life in Gaza. You fully supported me as indicated by your words.
I had expressed to both you and Bishop Barron months before the February hearing that I was asked to be removed from this commission due to my Catholic beliefs and my support of the Palestinians in Gaza. Both of you said that would never happen. But it did.
Can you please explain to me and to all Catholics the meaning of this apparent contradiction?
If there is no contradiction between what you said to me in August and why I’m presently removed, then please explain.
I believe I was removed from the religious liberty commission in February for the same reasons I was asked to resign in August.

I'm tired of hearing the US hasn't won any wars since WW2. The US won in Korea, Kuwait, Panama, Grenada, Kosovo, and Bosnia. Iraq was a victory too—the Saddam regime was toppled—it just wasn't the victory most people wanted because Iraq remained a shithole even without Saddam.

A 79-year-old doorman was savagely beaten on the Upper West Side while protecting a Rabbi's home.
The doorman, who goes by George, refused to let a stalker up to the Rabbi's residence. After being refused entry, the 29 year old assailant beat George. George spent five days in the hospital.

The 92nd St Y is canceling this long-planned event because of the 4yo tweet where I criticized Biden for picking a justice based on race/sex. So (1) they don’t understand the issue, (2) they didn’t do due diligence, and (3) they still kowtow to woke. For shame.

‘Dominant questioners’ is the generous term that Adam Feldman uses to describe the most talkative justices at oral argument.
I’m all for active questioning. But I sure wish that the two dominant questioners would be much better questioners. Today’s oral argument in an immigration case (Noem v. Al Otro Lado) provides apt illustrations of what too often happens.
Early in assistant solicitor general Vivek Suri’s argument, Sotomayor makes a 276-word speech-ending-in-a-question. Surek starts to answer, but Sotomayor won’t even let him complete a sentence before she interrupts him with an 84-word rebuttal. Suri manages to interject a 12-word sentence before Sotomayor interjects another question. He’s four words into his response when she cuts him off with another 69 words.
Jackson cuts Suri off before he can say a word in response to another Sotomayor question, and she speechifies for 196 words. Suri says that he has “two reasons” to provide in answer to her “Why on earth?” question, but Jackson cuts him off before he can get to his second reason. When he starts to provide it, she cuts him off in the middle of his second sentence and uses 84 words to rebut him. When the Chief and Justice Barrett try to ask their own questions, Jackson says “can I just finish?” and goes on for another 105 words.
Jackson also had her own ill-formed pet theory that the case was somehow moot or otherwise nonjusticiable. She spoke around 1,000—yes, one thousand—words on the topic on five or so different exchanges with counsel.

Over the past several weeks, Carrie Prejean Boller has complained that she was removed from the Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty because of her Catholic beliefs, and she has called out myself and other Catholic members of the commission for not defending her. This is absurd. Mrs. Prejean Boller was not dismissed for her religious convictions but rather for her behavior at a gathering of the Commission last month: browbeating witnesses, aggressively asserting her point of view, hijacking the meeting for her own political purposes. The Catholic position on matters of “Zionism,” to which I fully subscribe, is as follows: all forms of antisemitism are to be unequivocally condemned; the state of Israel has a right to exist; but the modern nation of Israel does not represent the fulfillment of Biblical prophecies and hence does not stand beyond criticism. If Mrs. Prejean Boller were dismissed for holding these beliefs, it is difficult to understand why I am still a member of the Commission. To paint herself as a victim of anti-Catholic prejudice or to claim that her religious liberty has been denied is simply preposterous.

Jewish Germans had the highest rates of volunteering for the German Army in WWI.
100,000 jewish Germans served in WWI, out of a population of merely 500,000, meaning 40% of all male jewish Germans served.
Also one has to understand one context about that picture:
It was taken not in Germany but in Poland, which German had just taken from the Russian Empire.
Russia was an extremely antisemeitic society while German at that time was one of the most philosemitic in Europe.
So theese Jews are not laughing at the German soldier, they are happy about Germany defeating Russia.

I am incredibly proud of Isra and everyone who made the trip to Cuba. They took tons of aid to make sure the people of Cuba knew that there are so many people across the world who stand in solidarity with them. Cuba has always sent aid to countries in need and has trained thousands of physicians across the world, including my childhood physician. @israhirsi is more than just my daughter, she is a brilliant young leader who has always worked hard to advocate for a more just world. She inspires me and so many people with her leadership and dedication. I am forever fortunate to have her as my daughter but I am even more fortunate to know her as the unflinching justice warrior for justice she is. #letcubalive
