@JUDITHAMARIE @AlliAlliG RMH doesn't take care of all expenses. Even to stay at the House the families pay a daily rate (subsidized.) I have no idea why there is a go fund me but I would imagine it was started by people who did not looking into the reality of the situation....

Boycott McDonalds is trending (LOL I would literally never imagine boycotting those fries) and I guess Ronald McD house in BC is evicting unvaccinated tenants at the end of the month. Do you know who lives in those houses. THE FAMILIES OF CRITICALLY ILL CHILDREN.

@public_ab @AHS_media I got a call last week from Oncology at ACH for my son to book an apt. He doesn't have cancer. Turns out someone entered a wrong PIN. Seriously made my heart almost stop. AHS is having issues they need to fix ASAP.

@LunchBoxCan @NaheedD It actually does affect the vaccinated when people choose to not get the vaccine. Higher hospitalizations means less medical support for other illnesses and accidents. It means cancer patients go longer without diagnosis and intervention and less support for a car accident.

Honest question: If you are a health worker who doesn't believe in the science behind vaccines...then why do you even work in healthcare?

@AlbertaYYC13 @jlebbs @calgaryzoo All I see is that if my child gets injured today there wouldn't be space for them to get medical care at the hospital but there also probably wouldn't be an ambulance available to take them to a hospital anyways. The unvaccinated are taking up the space and this is preventable.

@JudyBai26919928 @jannarden If hospitals cant house the sick, then temporary covid wards need to be setup outside of hospitals. This is a simple solution that allows covid patients to get the treatment they require, while having no impact on existing patients. It's more selfish to impose vax mandates.

The situation in Alberta is gut wrenching. People NEED TO GET VACCINATED. What part of this do they not get? Critically ill ICU patients are begging doctors for the shot as they wait in a terrifying limbo of life or death- and it’s far too late. It’s not too late right now. DO IT

The government of Alberta passed the law that makes it mandatory to wear a mask. This is not just the store's rule. There are no exceptions right now

Today, out of all the days, is the most I’m fed up with this virus and the lockdowns and masks and distancing... And it’s for no reason but that I’m just worn out with trying to stay strong for my kids. My game face is fading.

@TarzanDan Yes! I wish it was Let's Talk Day instead of a branded day. I know its fundraising for a cause, which the cause would not have otherwise but without the brand name, maybe more organizations would get on board with donation matching for the cause....

@KanyeBest_2020 @CBCNews @JPTasker It's not a grant. It's a paid volunteer program where they loan out "volunteers" to other organizations that they determine is a fit. If it were a true grant, it would allow volunteers and organizations to find each other and students then apply for the grant money.
