Objectively speaking, the best approach to reallocate the MegaETH allocation from people who have withdrawn is the following: Distribute it proportionally to the 30-day Kaito leaderboard. Keeping mindshare until the TGE should be the number one priority, and the leaderboard shows who the real soldiers are. This is my objective view without taking my own position on the leaderboard into account. What do you think???

@realize_gui @lolmcshizz @hydration_net Basically, if you are yielding a volatile token (in this case GDOT), then your yield will also be volatile. But this should always be accounted for prior to putting your funds into anything. Helps manage risk

@Chiapudding000 @lolmcshizz @hydration_net I wasn't, I see 10.2% on my position and 10.83% on the all pool display. So the 10.2% doesn't reflect the actual yield on my position? It is not straightforward to calculate the ratio when entered. Just letting my money there is bad strategy?

Update on tBTC farming on @hydration_net I've had my tBTC on the Hydration pool for 70 days now. The stated apy is, on average, around 10% So far, I've gotten around 7.5% in yield. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with this. But it also goes to show that you need to keep notes of what you're farming. Stated numbers are always just a snapshot of the current moment and not the average. Anyway, we continue farming. Quite happy with Hydration so far. @lolmcshizz

@Chiapudding000 @hydration_net Rewards are paid out in GDOT - based on the ratio of tBTC/ GDOT when you join the farm - if tBTC has outperformed GDOT during that time, it might be worth exiting and re-entering the farm to ensure you’re getting the best yield

Been on chain for over half a decade now. Glad that got me an allocation in the @megaeth sale. I got the minimum unlocked but always happy with these kinds of things. To expect in this wild west of an industry is setting yourself up for likely disappointment. Cheers to @bread_ and the work you do. I stay updated with the MegaETH ecosystem through your tweets.

Just put in some tBTC into a farm in @hydration_net and earning 10%+ on it. There's a bit more friction in the whole process as compared to just throwing your wrapped BTC into Aave but I'm hoping the extra incentives will be worth it. You can connect your regular EVM wallet (hopefully it's Rabby), deposit funds into a sub-account on Hydration and from there, you will be able to use those funds in the various products available. Side note, sending tBTC from Ethereum mainnet to Hydration took WAAAY longer than I thought

Wanted to take a moment to reflect on the last 12 months and highlight a few of the more insane parts... - gained ~50k followers on CT - made a ton of friends in the trenches (shoutout to the Outsiders and Conviction Labs) - publicly hit a 2500x and a 9200x - traveled to some conferences and met really great people in the industry - made more in DOT from making DeFi content about Hydration on Polkadot than I had onchain 12 months ago - bought the family home with airdrop and trench winnings - quit my real life job to chase the dream of building cool sht with cool ppl - made deep connections in the industry well beyond anything I ever would have imagined - helped make multiple millionaires during the AI run in late 2024 - locked in partnerships and working relations with some of the biggest names in crypto - had the most fun Hard to believe all of this was crammed into a 12 month period.
