Raycast 2 is built on React?! Been using Raycast 2.0 for a few days and its noticeably very snappy Today I was shocked to see they have built it with Web Views and a Node.js backend. You know I had to crack it open. Light native wrapper. Rust where it matters. No electron of Tauri.

If you use GitHub (especially if you pay for it!!) consider doing this *immediately* Settings -> Privacy -> Disallow GitHub to train their models on your code. GitHub opted *everyone* into training. No matter if you pay for the service (like I do). WTH github.com/settings/copil…

Readers spotted that compression was not applied consistently in our React SSR benchmarks. TanStack Start had it disabled while the others had it on. We disabled compression everywhere and re-ran the tests. Here are the corrected results.

i just want to give a shoutout to @joinditto if you're looking to buy health/term insurance > they dont spam you constantly like other insurance aggregators in the market > actually advised me against getting certain top ups in health insurance i was willing to pay for (did not randomly upsell to me!!) > made a small typo in my application, helped me reach out to the insurance provider & get that fixed in 2 days > simply simply didnt push me toward a plan w higher premium (especially since im already covered through work and my parents plan)
