Starting with $100,000 in each case: MSTY paid out total dividends of $174,500 with ending equity of $90,775. (total end value $265,274) MSTR ran out of shares to support the matching synthetic dividends on month 8! It was only able to pay out total dividends of $148,700 with ending equity of $0 and no dividend income for the last 4 months. (total end value $148,700) MSTR just held for the same time period had ending equity of $238,462. Clearly, MSTY has outperformed MSTR since inception.
