A month later and I don't know if I can still pick Walsh over Baylor...but I also don't want to see Walsh go either because there's a legit two way NBA player in there, plus he's still so young 😂 Can't leave someone like Hauser unprotected imo, both from a skillset standpoint and salary slot/potential to use in trades if needed standpoint No matter the way they go, it's going to sting

Eagles are 100% going to trade him sooner than later. It’s the classic “we want him here. We have no plans to trade him at this time.” Then 48 hours later the breaking news hits. I believe everything Dianna is reporting btw, just saying it always ends up being the opposite of what the team tells people.
Dianna Russini@DMRussini

After serious conversations with both the Rams and Patriots, the Eagles will not trade A.J. Brown at this time, according to multiple league sources. Both teams remain interested, but no move is imminent. If a trade were to happen, it would likely heat up closer to June 1.

Former Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is signing a one-year deal with the Vikings, per sources. Murray now will become part of a QB room that includes former No. 10 overall pick J.J. McCarthy. With Murray already owed $36.8 million from Arizona, his one-year contract with the Vikings will be for the veteran league minimum.

Romeo Doubs has eclipsed 100 receiving yards just twice in his four year career (The 100-yard threshold is one of the strongest predictors of elite weekly fantasy performance). In 2025, Doubs had an 18% target share and 20% target per route run rate. There were five receivers who had similar target distributions to Doubs in 2025. Below is a list of those players and the number of their 100 yard games in 2025. • Michael Wilson: 3 games • Ladd McConkey: 2 • Brian Thomas Jr.: 0 • Jauan Jennings: 0 • Jakobi Meyers: 0 Is there opportunity in New England for Doubs to change that trend? Stefon Diggs, in 2025, had five 100 yard games on a 21% target share. No other Patriots receiver eclipsed a 15% target share. Diggs finished as WR1 in four of five of those 100+ yard performances. Diggs' '25 alignment stood in stark contrast to Doubs. Diggs operated from out wide 54% of the time while Doubs lined up wide 80% of the time in Green Bay. Doubs had a higher ADOT than Diggs but Doubs had an exceptional catch rate despite his higher ADOT. There were 13 receivers with similar target volume (70-100 targets) and ADOT (11-14 yards) in catch rate to Doubs during the 2025 regular season. Doubs ranked second in catch rate among them. Doubs will likely experience a career year in volume and production. Even if Doubs is relegated to the perimeter, he'll see an increase in target share (20-25%) and more weekly WR1 finishes.

@minakimes Anything in his data (or Josh McDaniels tendencies) that makes you think they could try him as a power slot? Chatter seems to be that he'll stay on the boundary, but am curious about your thoughts.

Really like Romeo Doubs in New England. Polished route runner, red zone upside, can work the middle, and a good intermediate answer for Drake Maye--ranked 12th league-wide in yds/route run on 10-20 yd throws, tied with....Stefon Diggs. Could see him used in a similar fashion.

@JoshEberley Kawhi is like Embiid. Kawhi has played in ~53% of games the last 9 seasons. Embiid is ~50% for his career. They get put on lists like this, but if your were starting a real NBA roster for 82 games + playoffs, they aren't giving you what Tatum, Ant, or 5-6 other guys could.

I’ve had multiple content concepts/ideas replicated elsewhere over the years - I consider it a compliment. Not sure who/what exactly this is about but here’s some unsolicited advice: keep your head down, your ego in check and stop getting distracted by social media.
Erik Halterman@erik_halterman

The discussion around "stolen" ideas on baseball twitter is getting ridiculous. More than one person is allowed to post "here's who's pitching today" or "here's who played yesterday" or "here's how this guy pitched". We'd all be better off with more people doing that, not less.

@adamlevitan Per Mike Reiss, New England is very unlikely to give a haul for any player. He's about as plugged in as it gets. Compensation would need to be well south of haul territory.

I know this isn't fantasy football, I know it's probably impossible. But... 1. Eagles trade AJ Brown to Patriots for a huge haul 2. Frees up Devonta Smith to be the alpha he is 3. Gets Drake Maye the alpha he needs 4. Eagles draft whatever available WR they like best at pick 23 (Tyson, Cooper, Boston, Conception) 5. Everyone profits

We are minutes from first pitch of Team USA’s first World Baseball Classic exhibition. Paul Skenes is starting. The lineup is littered with stars: Aaron Judge, Bobby Witt Jr., Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber and many more. Could be the start of something special. And it’s on ESPN.

Someone could write a book on this. Off the top of my head, I'd have to say Vlade Divac and Manu Ginobili deserve a lot of the credit for the early years. James Harden took it to previously unseen levels. LeBron James and Chris Paul helped around that time. This era's torchbearers are probably Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Brunson and Joel Embiid, but unfortunately, it's now everywhere. In the last few years, Nikola Jokic has adopted it. Seemingly every team has one now. Soon, it might be easier to identify the non-floppers, like Jamal Murray, Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kawhi Leonard.

What player is most to blame for making flopping so prevalent in the NBA, in your opinion?

@Jurrfreyy @tylermilliken_ @ChrisCotillo Many Boston fans only know how to interact with their teams via negativity. Its fueled by sports radio, but its also just latent. The "Larry Bird is not walking through that door" Pitino rant was a direct reference to this toxicity. He called it the Fellowship of the Miserable.

Triston Casas was asked by @ChrisCotillo about the extension offers he turned down a few years back and he said there’s no regrets on his end. “I don’t have any regrets about the way that I handled the situation… In the moments that I was not agreeing to anything long-term, I felt like I could take the field and post an .850 OPS rolling out of bed. I was just that confident, and I still think I am that type of player. I didn’t think that ’23 reflected my best baseball, and it was still great. Now, I feel like my best baseball is still ahead of me.”
