@ClaudeDevs I wonder how substantial the increase is and how it compares to Codex... because I just completely switched to Codex when I got tired of the usage limits

Usage limits are up, effective today we're: 1) Doubling Claude Code's 5-hour limits for Pro, Max, Team and seat-based Enterprise plans 2) Removing peak hours limit reduction on Claude Code for Pro and Max plans 3) Substantially raising our API rate limits for Opus models
Claude@claudeai

We’ve agreed to a partnership with @SpaceX that will substantially increase our compute capacity. This, along with our other recent compute deals, means that we’ve been able to increase our usage limits for Claude Code and the Claude API.

JUST NOW: President Trump explains how his phone's autocorrect almost got him in trouble with the First Lady: "They have spell correct and word correct, and these crazy machines that we use to put out Truths... And every time I wrote 'Melania,' it would correct to 'Melody.'" "And I'd say 'Melania is fantastic' and 'happy Mother's Day Melania our great first lady, Melania.' But it would spell correct and and word correct to 'Melody.' And sometimes I wouldn't proofread it, and I would get just absolute decimated."

🚨 LMFAO! Acting press sec. Marco Rubio says it's TOTAL CHAOS as he tries calling on the correct reporter, filling in for Karoline Leavitt "This is CHAOS, guys!" "In the black. You in the black! Yes ma'am. Where—no, you, no, you BOTH are wearing black. No, you don't have black, you have blue on! I'm color blind, but I know blue and black. Right there. Yes ma'am. NO, you, the first one I called on!" 😂😂😂

Armenians should not serve in Congress. Neither should Somalis. Or Guatemalans. Or — wait for it— Israelis. If you are a citizen of a foreign country, you shouldn’t serve in ours. We need to pass my bill to stop the invasion of dual citizens in Congress. NOW.

@Sachinettiyil Nonsense! The Vancouver Catholic Diocese would've sent the priest to the Providence Health Care Catholic run hospital, not Vancouver General, which performs abortions. The whole story is an orchestrated plan to discredit the MAID program.

Meta has stopped working with Sama, a company in Kenya that helped train its AI using videos from the Ray-Ban glasses. After that, Sama fired about 1,100 workers. Some of the workers say they lost their jobs after speaking out about the very private videos they had to watch. The workers saw very private videos from the smart glasses, including people using the bathroom, taking off clothes, having sex, private talks, and even bank card details. So many users did not know that a guy in Kenya were watching their videos to train the AI so a class-action lawsuit against Meta was filed Sama has lost the contract with Meta and fired 1,000 people Meta has not given a detailed public statement on ending the contract or the workers’ claims

Former head of Harvard chemistry department defects to China, tied to helping CCP build AI supersoldiers.
UnveiledChina@Unveiled_ChinaX

A convicted former Harvard scientist is now the architect of China’s push to "blur the distinction between electronics and the human brain." Charles Lieber, once the world’s top-ranked chemist and chair of Harvard’s chemistry department, has resurfaced as the founding director of i-BRAIN in Shenzhen. Just three years after his U.S. federal conviction for lying about ties to the Thousand Talents Program, Lieber is overseeing a state-funded institute bankrolled by a government that has declared brain-computer interfaces a "national priority." The resource gap between his new lab and Harvard is staggering: Unlimited Primate Access: Lieber now has access to 2,000 primate cages at the Brain Science Infrastructure Shenzhen—a resource far beyond what was available at Harvard, which closed its primate center in 2015. Cutting-Edge Hardware: His lab recently installed a $2 million deep ultraviolet lithography system from ASML to print the microscopic circuits essential for neural implants. Billion-Dollar Backing: i-BRAIN is part of a "manicured" science hub where parent institutions operate with five-year budgets totaling roughly $2 billion. While Lieber’s work aims to treat conditions like ALS, the U.S. Defense Department warns that China’s military is investigating this exact technology to engineer "super soldiers" with enhanced situational awareness. Analysts call Lieber "Exhibit A" for why U.S. safeguards are failing; despite being caught and punished, one of America’s greatest scientific minds simply took his expertise to the very regime the U.S. was trying to keep it from. As Lieber told a Shenzhen conference in December: "I arrived with a dream... my own goals are to make Shenzhen a world leader." #CharlesLieber #ChinaTech #BrainComputerInterface #NationalSecurity #Shenzhen #Harvard #AI #Neurotech

Psychiatrists aren't really there for talk therapy, they're there to analyze the behaviors and come up with a treatment plan. Talk therapy or ABA is more of the psychologist realm. Many neurological conditions are incurable. Can you tell me what the cure to schizophrenia is? Dissociative identity disorder? There aren't cures for these, all that can be done is medicine to help ease these impact of the symptoms and the quality of life for the person. Of course there are some bad apples, as there are in every field possible. That doesn't make everyone a bad person or the field a sham. You're not wrong when you say some are just there for the money. Damn right. Though, that can be said about doctors, nurses, and so on. Light shines through the darkness.

That’s the sad part: Often times they prefer their patient to be dependent on medicine. It reminds me of Monroe... she spent many years talking to her psychiatrist about her sexual problems... I think 6 years or so.. but the psychiatrist fell inlove with her which is another problem.. I think she was not treated because of bad motive... Like other doctors, some don’t really treat patients so much as focus on making money... Mostly, they emphasize medication INSTEAD of therapy, such as talk theraphy, behavioral and cognitive approaches... it helps..
