Passing on Rueben Bain will be a direct comparison over the next few years against Vega Ioane. The Ravens decided to spend on the OL, which is in a fractured state. Can’t knock them for wanting to protect their QB with a pretty clean prospect. Bain is an outlier in terms of size/arm length towards the top of the draft and I think the Ravens went for the double off the wall.

@KelvinH15092824 @johntownley11 SCR is about the ratio of wages to adjusted income though so a pure profit sale of Ramsey for 40m would still increase our adjusted income. People make the mistake of solely focussing on the wage aspect when the income generated is the other half of the equation.

@johntownley11 This is odd with Ramsey. We don't have a PSR problem after selling the women's team last year and the 22/23 figures no longer in the mix. So scr is about high earners but Ramsey is still on his 2022 deal which won't be anywhere near what most of the villa squad are earning.

I'm backing Britain’s young people. We're charging employers more to recruit from overseas and, if they do, they must prove they are investing in British workers and increasing British skills. That's the fair and right thing to do.
