@jayson_casper I’m becoming more that way. Initially it was getting things I wanted when I was younger but couldn’t afford. Now it’s about taking control of my life and time.
@LardasPeter@ally_eh@CollinRugg It’s not legal for a juvenile to have a firearm unsupervised. It’s not legal for a juvenile to purchase a firearm. So the legality of ownership isn’t the issue here. Our soft on crime policies are obviously not a deterrent. But blame it on an inanimate object.
Well... Texas certainly needs to revisit its gun policy.
Court records noted in the post confirm he was "under juvenile suspension for multiple previous charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon." He still legally possessed the handgun because the juvenile system treated him as a delinquent, not a convicted felon.
This absolutely needs to be revisited. Juvies that commit assault with a deadly weapon should be treated as adults in regards to gun ownership.
Had he committed his crimes at age 18 instead of 16 or 17, he would not have been able to legally own a gun.
Thanks for pointing this out. I will be contacting my State rep and ask him to propose changes to current law.
NEW: Texas teen shoots woman in the neck who was visiting her friend with cancer before stealing the car belonging to the woman with cancer.
18-year-old Darius DeWayne Hall has been arrested for allegedly shooting Marietta Allison in northwest Houston.
The friend with cancer, Cassie Daniel, has shared a post detailing what happened.
"There wasn’t any parking, so Marietta had driven around the block to find a parking spot, and we heard the gunshot," Daniel said.
"We were later told that her heart stopped immediately when [Hall] shot her in the neck."
"The man took her purse, stole my car key, and took the car."
Hall was under juvenile suspension for multiple previous charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to court records.
Another avoidable death.
🚨BREAKING: Following the shooting of an armed illegal alien in Minneapolis, a self‑described ANTIFA member is urging his followers to arm themselves and fight against ICE and the federal government who he calls “Nazi gunmen.”
“It’s time to suit up, boots on the ground.”
“I’m not talking about peaceful protest anymore. We’re not talking about having polite conversations anymore.”
“Get your fucking guns and stop these fucking people.”
@GovTimWalz Coordinate with federal law enforcement on detainer requests and there would be no need for them to enforce removal orders in public. Have the local law enforcement assist with securing scenes and there wouldn’t need to be additional agents deployed to fill that role.
I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.
The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.
@FuckEmWeBall23@itsREDIC@Albertteac Yes but do they have a lawsuit? Doubtful. You can hear the bike approach at a high rate of speed. The rpms extremely high. If they’re running double the posted limit they have fault as well. Car could have had ample time to cross if they had been doing the speed limit. Both wrong
@Albertteac Mixed blame. Car didn’t completely stop and crossed at an area that doesn’t look to be accessible from that side street. BUT, you hear the bikes coming at high speed. The rpm’s rapidly increase. If they had been doing the speed limit there would have time to react.
Anti-Ice protestors are just out there exercising their constitutional right to assemble. In no way do they impede federal law enforcement. Not one bit.
They are a peaceful people. 🕊️

@ItzBermuda@antmillionsbot Nah, this one looks better than the one posted. This is actually starting to make higher lows and higher highs. Some volume and it could see continuation.
@FanJDVance If someone breaks into your home than yes. They’ve shown ill intent by breaking in. My concern is for my families safety, not theirs. I do not know what they’re capable of or willing to do and will not risk my families safety to find out.
@PatelShant43924@ArmaLite15OU812 Shooting someone in the leg is never a good plan. First, under duress you’re less likely to hit your target and you’re accountable for every round that leaves the weapon. Next, femoral artery in your leg. you’re likely to hit it and they’ll bleed out in minutes
@baur_bruce@EndWokeness Let’s see a list of other cases where such manpower was allocated? What is the average number of agents involved in a specific incident?
@EndWokeness Had nothing to do with the fact that Trump publicly stated that if they weren’t released by the time he took office then there would be hell to pay. I’m sure the flashbacks of MOABS dropped on ISIS played no role in the release only days before inauguration.
