@TheLibertyYell @afern_alex I wouldn’t sign him now. Goalies are too flaky. If he continues to perform I don’t think 4 years is out of bounds. If Z outperforms him then he Vlad becomes the back up. You have entry level as a starter to offset Vlad contract or you trade him if he is able to get assets

Honestly I’m torn on Vladars term. I think 5 is too long especially if you’re sold on Zavragin being the future. Maybe 3 years?

@JameyBaskow Yes that’s who I think we should trade. Highlight reel plays no doubt. And the speed could hurt but if I could package him and risto for a high end center prospect to a team that’s going for it. That’s my dream scenario

Tippett is seen as untouchable, and Michkov is seen as one who needs to train more. Did Michkov have a perfect season? No, but even in a "Down" year he still posted 51 points and 20 goals

Kind of weird Matvei Michkov is in headlines Some say Owen Tippett had a great season, but he finished with the same points as Michkov Both Flyers wingers finished with identical 51 points in 81 games: Michkov is held to a higher standard, due to ceiling, that's the difference

@DanKnightly Of course someone will be hopefully packaged with risto for a prospect center with upside in my dream scenario. To me tips would bring the most value and makes the most sense. It will hurt but did he even crack 50 points this year?

@RonoAnalyst I think this is a bit of an over reaction. Maybe he just means defensive details. Or good along the boards. He was not good in these playoffs. Sorry he wasn’t. I think he can be a great player but he wasn’t this season. I just hope he puts his down crushes it next year.

@DanKnightly I agree. Although I think a lot of breaks went their way. Don’t know if they can do it again next year. I am hoping risto can get a high end center prospect. Maybe a pipe dream. Hopefully Gm’s just watch the Pittsburgh series when evaluating him

Anyways, great season. It was fun to feel again . Beating Pittsburgh in itself is good enough for me . The boys gave it their all to make the playoffs and get to the 2nd round. Brieres on the clock

If the #Flyers play like they did in the first three games. They have a chance against the Canes. If they play the way they did in the last three games, they’ll lose quickly. I think the #Flyers will be competitive, but unclear at this point if they actually have a chance.

So Michkov has been benched, yes? Feel like I haven’t seen him much at all this period. He hasn’t done much this game. Had a hard time with TOs in his own zone, not surprised he isn’t seeing ice defending a lead. He’s gotta be better.

The Porter Martone goal last night -- his patience and that shot itself -- was tremendous. But it's also one of those goals where, if its your team that scores it, you say, "What a goal!" If it's the other team's go, it's "Our goalie can't get beaten from that distance." Flyers will keep testing Skinner high glove all series.
