@theweevilguy sts2 was already a bad game. I might be in the minority but I refunded and gave a negative review early on. It's just sts1 with more, there's like nothing unique about it, supposed to already be bigger & better than sts 1? might be true but they didn't innovate at ALL!

@Superiori_T @shintoart @SweetT2091799 @ItsCastia @teelokay the difference here is that game uses cards as an abstraction for combat. you are attacking and dodging in the game by using cards. you can't make a cutscene in universe of the characters by having them use cards, because they're not. what's the alternative here?

This is exciting and all but honestly I'm getting a smidge tired of these very fancy high-budget cinematic trailers with dynamic action scenes only to advertise a very slow and tactical turn-based game.

@MattGoesBuck @Alektric everything in that list besides vc is either legacy content that's pointless to run or trivial vendor slop that anyone in steel path could do. just because there's more stuff to get doesn't mean there's an endgame warframe is literally the worst game of it's kind in that regard

Did you get to EDA / ETA content? Did you solo it? Can you solo level cap void cascade? Can you solo Eidolons? Did you get to rank 5 Euidico / Little Duck so you can make cracked Amps and do Profit Taker, Did you get to rank 5 Hollovania, did you subsume every regular Warframe for Helminth? There's much more than that too when you toss in events for rare Amalgam Mods, Sigils, etc. Most people with 350 hours get base steel path unlocked and can hang against level 160 enemies and think that's Warframe. Not saying that's you, but that's the norma and what people think is endgame.

Even with today’s announcement, idc, cook me. In terms of current looter shooters. Warframe > Division 2 > Borderlands 4 / Destiny 2 BL4 and D2 are currently in a contest to see who can be worse, while Warframe cooks, and Division 2 unfortunately doesn’t have the bodies to create new content / theyre making Division 3. Destiny 2 is just bad though.

I think Mewgenics might have the smoothest and most subtle difficulty options in a game ever. Game is constantly adjusting difficulty to keep things challenging but winnable, and the comeback mechanic are so good yet so subtle (with options to opt out of most).

@JuicyBrack @Silomare and it's hard to have a constructive conversation about how to proceed when they're unwilling to have a dialogue. clearly their design process is flawed here but these changes are in service of a vision and if we just knew what it was i think people would show some grace.

@JuicyBrack @Silomare in general yeah but i think in this specific case it's just very poor communication. like there's a reason they're preventing us from changing stats for example, but when they don't explain why we just kinda assume they're being stupid.

Made this extremely awesome graph that is very awesome wow crazy. If you dislike having to swap gear mid encounter, wanting to have locked loadouts is a perfectly valid opinion imo. Notswap is the worst of both worlds, it has no upsides.

@Silomare this idea that they don't realise you still have to swap to DPS loadout(s) with notswap is like kinda wild. obviously they know that.

@Silomare i dont really think theyre trying to fix loadout swapping itself, just the "problem" of being able to swap exotic armor freely. i like swaps and the current implementation of notswap is terrible but i can see what they're trying to accomplish.
