Horrifying that a tree is being poisoned with acid on Sankey Road. Thanks to quick action by employees of a business and local residents, BBMP has been notified. We hope swift action is taken against the perpetrator. This is a violation of Preservation of Trees Act 1976.

@Sahanasatianaat Yes, it's horrifying that a tree we fought so hard to save is being poisoned. It appears to have been done by a local resident. Thankfully the tree has been examined and it's safe for now. We need to ensure action is taken against the perpetrator.

Wasn't this the stretch that the residents fought to retain greenery in and the local MLA Aswasthanarayan wanted to destroy. Sure that there is a political twist to such happenings. Looks like the person intends to destroy greenery by hook or crook. @Citizens4Sankey
