Let’s give the win in the 4x400 relay to Nyan Brown after all he clearly won the final leg straight up. That gives the 8A NCHSAA Outdoor State Championship to Mallard Creek as deserved. Then formally ban him from future events for unsportsmanlike conduct which is a moot point since he’s off to college and will become NC State’s problem. At this point anything to move on from this inconsequential didindo nuffin moment.

So you both the coach and runner saying he wasn't warned, video of the race showing nothing that would merit a warning, and no video of an actual warning issued.
