After 4+ years at Synthesis, much of it leading engineering for Tutor, I've resigned. It was a blessing working with such a talented team on a category leading product. I will always cherish my time at Synthesis. Now it's time to forge a new path at @sage_teacher. AI teaching hasn't lived up to its promise...yet. We cracked it. Ghostty was fun, but time for something else. I still love opencode, too but with CC plans dead on it… I’m feeling lost. Full GUI? T3 Code? Opencode GUI? Warp? Back to cursor? Try CC again? Raw Codex? My 🧠 hurts and I just need to keep shipping.

There are plenty of valid reasons to disagree with Netanyahu and his policies, but for crying out loud people, he is quoting a book by Will Durant (a guy you can find in every used bookstore). "Nature and history do not agree with our conceptions of good and bad; they define good as that which survives, and bad as that which goes under; and the universe has no prejudice in favor of Christ as against Genghis Khan." @seanmdav I'm a fan of durant. This quote is terrible though. It denies the deity of Jesus. Doesn't help your message when you say something offensive to Christians.

He is summarizing an argument/quote made by Will Durant in “The Lessons of History” about the brutality of life on earth and the need to confront evil. Agree with that sentiment or not, he’s not making the claim being quoted. C’mon, folks.

He's quoting Durant, a fantastic historian. But that doesn't change the fundamental misunderstanding Durant had and which Netanyahu is repeating -- Jesus is God.

At Sage, a core value is serving the whole family. In many ways, this means delivering a calm and safe screen time experience that maintains the harmony of the home. Or just help my kid be ready for kindergarten. Sage is built for families to craft the perfect education for their kids and remain in the loop every step of the way.

PSA, apple's built in Speech Recognition is both faster and more accurate than Parakeet. whisper-large-v3-turbo is still king for accuracy, but if you need something faster just use apple's built in. you can use on-device only if you like. use github.com/AppDevGuy/OSSS… to integrate into native apps. other transcription models like Qwen or Mistral etc are not good for short utterences at all. they only shine with longer context

Woke up to the world ending over this tweet- so here’s some clarification. Read it- did not say it was Erika or confirmed or anything. I actually explicitly said that would be hard to believe. Most of the ‘debunks’ actually are not sharing convincing or any evidence at all. Candace has said she debunked it- and I trust her rigor. But I want to debunk it for myself now too. Digging into the files to try to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that it’s Hailey Robson today and I’ll update when I have that proof.
