After 4+ years at Synthesis, much of it leading engineering for Tutor, I've resigned. It was a blessing working with such a talented team on a category leading product. I will always cherish my time at Synthesis. Now it's time to forge a new path at @sage_teacher. AI teaching hasn't lived up to its promise...yet. We cracked it. If you want to follow along, hop on the waitlist at sageteacher.ai
Joe Norman@normonics

Some news: I resigned as Head of Product for the Synthesis Tutor. Friday was my last day. I am VERY excited for what's coming next. Follow along: @sage_teacher and sageteacher.ai To date, no one has built a system that can generate reliable, interactive, visceral educational experiences. Text, images, even video -- these are all passive media. To LEARN you must DO. Sage is building that My time at Synthesis was a blessing, and the best education I could imagine. Deep gratitude to @chrisman and @josh_dahn for giving me the opportunity to build a first-of-its-kind product with crack team 🙏. I will be cheering for Synthesis to continue breaking new ground.

@michaeljknowles He used to be along my favorite politicians (if there is such a thing) until I realized that types like him will get absolutely nothing done. Politics and moving forward overall sometimes requires compromise. He’s too idealistic and ineffective.

Did you know: Tax stamps are free now, so you can print as many suppressors as you want to. (As long as you have room in your folder 😂) Found this little guy on GunCAD Index. Waited about a month for approval on my stamp, and then had this little thing printed in about 4 hours

I’ve always opposed EV mandates, rejected the idea that EVs will save the world, and preferred traditional engines for vehicles like the F-150 I used to drive. That said, it’s clear that Teslas are absolutely top-notch products. It’s not hard to see how they’ve developed a dedicated following.
Eduard Richter@erichter66

@RonDeSantis @elonmusk @iliketeslas 5 people in our family bought Model Y. We don’t care about electric cars, we wanted the FSD and we love it. I am spreading the gospel everywhere I can, but people still don’t believe it exists.

THIS GUY BUILT A PHYSICAL DEVICE THAT SITS ON YOUR DESK AND SHOWS YOUR CLAUDE CODE USAGE LIMITS IN REAL TIME it's called clawdmeter. it runs on a $32 waveshare ESP32 dev board with a 480x480 AMOLED display instead of checking the claude code UI or guessing how much usage you have left, you can now just glance at your desk at this point anthropic should just mail these to us for free but i also don't need MORE claude usage anxiety AND it's open source on github. this situation says EVERYTHING about the current state of the product the claude code accessory market is booming in real time

Clark and I cleaned this 2 target, 2 position stage (Stage 12) at the High Desert Hunter NRL Hunter match in Vernal, UT. Clark had a small hiccup with his bipod. The dust was causing all sorts of problems for people. Later on in the match he had to take the entire bipod apart and clean it to get it to deploy and adjust reliably. Overall, I thought the match was just right in terms of difficulty. The two hardest aspects were getting accurate ranges on targets and being able to landmark/index them since there isn't that much variation in the terrain. #nrlhunter #precisionrifle #precisionshooting #precisionrifleseries #longrangeshooting

@Recca4779 @paramounttactcl I believe he was shot with a .30-06. And you seem quite sure of things (100%, “proven lies”, etc) despite having fals/incorrect information.

Ok but where are the MOUNTAINS OF EVIDENCE? Just on a serious note, not being a jerk, do you ACTUALLY BELIEVE Charlie was shot with a 30.06? All seriousness. I have no skin in the game except for the fact I will not stand by silently and watch somebody get the death penalty for something I can 100% say I don’t think he did it. I’m a hunter. I grew up on 186 acres and have hunted deer my whole life. I even went on a bear hunt. I didn’t kill one but I’ve seen a 30.06 a million times and it’s just impossible to me. Then to find out his parents and grandfather are not testifying for the defense like everybody lied about. They think he was framed actually. The discord chats have been proven to be lies. There are so many lies involved in this case I just can’t sit by silently and watch somebody be framed and then executed for a crime they couldn’t possibly have committed. What do you actually think happened? Be real I’m not being a jerk. I literally want to know how this would be possible so I can stop defending it if I’m wrong. Prove me wrong, please. This is an innocent man. I’m not for the death penalty as it is, but this guy is innocent I’m 100% sure of it.

Not a single expert proved it was impossible. 99.9% of the self-proclaimed experts only found out they were ballistic experts after September 2025. They just lie. Literally every legitimate expert like myself who actually shoots and teaches ballistics for a living would never say it's "impossible," especially given the many real-world examples like MLK and Chuck Ritter that prove it's possible. To these clowns, every retard in their backyard shooting slabs of meat with zero scientific rigor is deemed an "expert" regardless of experience, technical knowledge, or formal training.

🚨BIG SEIZURE AT JFK! 🚨 This wasn’t just a violation…it was a threat to our communities. CBP officers uncovered a falsely declared suppressor, leading to the discovery of firearms, high-capacity magazines, body armor, narcotics, and explosive material. Every seizure is a reminder: vigilance at our ports of entry is critical to keeping our communities safe. Read: go.dhs.gov/5oP

Another NRL Hunter match in the books. We had a lot of great moments and a couple sucky ones. Overall, pretty happy with our 5th place finish. The match had some tricks up its sleeve. Landmarking targets and getting an accurate range on the targets proved to be pretty difficult on a number of stages. Before and after each match Clark and I pick a couple things we want to improve on. Coming into the match I was focused on two main things: 1) not forcing a bad position and 2) when I break a clean shot and miss to make adjustments right away instead of sending a few more rounds before I decide it’s a good idea to adjust. Overall, I feel like I did really well with these two things this match. I have two things I’m focused on for next match: 1) building faster prone positions (crazy how this is probably my slowest position to shoot in) and 2) taking a deep breath and slowing down when in a time crunch. I notice when I feel time pressure I start hurrying and making dumb mistakes. Big thanks to all the sponsors for the match, particularly @sigsauerinc and Pure Precision. Clark and I picked up some awesome prizes from them. Can’t wait for the next one!

@Austen Agreed. I've been saying this for a while x.com/ClintFix/statu…

@levelsio I think a better corollary is CAD and mechanical engineering. One engineer can do far more, far faster than before. Also more mech. engineers than there’s ever been. The lower cost will spur demand. Projects that were infeasible before will be viable with AI.
