Real question: What’s the amount invested where you’d truly feel financially free? Not billionaire rich. Just secure.

@SparkingFIRENC I’m 50 and 4M would be more than enough for me, but I’m debt free and I plan to do the guardrails approach. I won’t need 4M for 150,000.

Assuming you currently 50 and have a lifestyle that you are truly satisfied with that costs $150,000 a year Would you rather: Retire at 50 with $4,000,000 Retire at 60 with $11,000,000 Retire at 65 with $15,000,000

@wilsonhlthcoach I’m 50 and really want to move on, but also want to keep saving for retirement. It’s a struggle.

"If your hubby is retired, why is he looking for work?" Because my hubby is 52. He retired from his previous career at 50. But he wasn't done working yet. He was just ready to be done with his career and wanted to look for something a lot easier.

If you change your oil every 5,000 miles, know that i am judging you. Full synthetic oil is good for double or triple that length. Stop wasting your money.

@DavidWolfe I wish my wife would stop. She “doesn’t know how” because she said if we have an emergency they won’t treat the dog.

I’ll never understand why I’m paying to use AI and the usage includes all of the hallucinations and poor answers, which eat up all of my usage? If a restaurant kept dropping my food on the floor, would I keep paying for it? Of course not.

@RifeTechnology When someone says……what is least you’ll take, I always reply with what’s the most you’ll pay. It breaks their brain.

Why does EVERYONE ask what the best price for something is when selling it? Im selling this mower and trailer for $4500 and everyone says "i want them. Whats your best price?" I mean, its listed with a price.

@MonacoFreedom First off. I wouldn’t listen to anyone that hasn’t done it. We paid off a 3% mortgage and I regret it. Would you rather have a paid off home or investment income that can pay your mortgage? The latter is the obvious choice. Once the excitement wore off I turned to FI.

Is this a normal experience working with a contractor? Me: “when are you coming?” Contractor: “we’ll be there tomorrow at 1pm” Never shows up Me: “when are you coming?” Contractor: “we’ll be there on Tuesday at 3pm” Never shows up This happened 5 times (not exaggerating). I finally said we’re done, give me my deposit back. Is this normal or did I get played?

Once you have ~$1.2 million invested in a taxable brokerage? It doesn’t make sense to aggressively invest any more. Maybe add $500/mo to keep it going? …But its 100% safe to upgrade your life & enjoy things more.
