@JezTeller @OperatorDrewski You obviously are young if you think this game looks like a game from the 1980s. I'd rather the game by okayish graphically but have depth of systems

@OperatorDrewski This game looks really bad and I like Arma. Looks clunky - like really bad. Straight from the 1980s. Had heard hype about it but there’s no way I’m getting it.

@hehedhsbsv96252 @Itcanworkout @Twugbugie8 I mean it is the content too. Just the opposite issue of BF's. It's the amount of branded pop culture slop that takes you out of the fact it's supposed to be a gritty war game. COD has too much content people don't want and BF has too little of what people want.

@officialEBoland @MarilynGladuSL What most people do doesn't change how the system is supposed to function. You can serve your constituents better by being in the governing caucus and extracting concessions for your riding by making a deal to cross the floor.

It’s time to resign and call a byelection. Being a floor crosser, regardless of party affiliation, should automatically trigger a byelection. Before the Liberals attack me and claim that we don’t vote on party lines, it’s important to remember that most Canadian voters vote based on the candidate’s party affiliation. This is why you see the party name next to the person’s name on the ballot.

@justice_Tyr22 Those involved need to look into the statutes of limitations, both criminal and civil. If they've expired, they should be in the clear. I'd suggest trying to keep anonymous while returning the vehicle, in any event. Hire a lawyer to return it for you.

@scottythegoat @sentdefender Charging fees for infrastructure isn't the same as charging fees to pass through a natural choke point. There is no cost to maintaining the Strait. It's a pretty standard piece of international maritime law. Hence why the UK doesn't charge a fee to pass Gibraltar/English Channel

@sentdefender Giving Iran a financial incentive to keep the Straits open is not a bad option to be honest. Panama and Suez Canals charge a fee. Pipelines charge fees as well. Brings Iran closer to capitalism.

Under the two-week ceasefire plan agreed to tonight by both Iran and the United States, both Iran and Oman are permitted to charge fees on commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz, according to the Associated Press, with officials stating that the money received by Iran will be used to rebuild the country following the recent strike campaign by Israel and the United States.

There is this thing in photography called "perspective," and it can change how something looks depending on the angle and the foreground and background. The dome is the same size in all the photos. If it were fake, the small text and details in the image would differ in each picture.

@TheAviationist Deep fakes. The radar saucer appears to have different sizes and slightly different locations on images, no radar saucer stand, not enough debris to account for the lost section, the interior does not look like this and there is no blast scorch.

Photos posted by FB page Air Force amn/nco/snco show the extent of the damage to US Air Force E-3G Sentry 81-0005 following the drone and missile attack at Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia. The attack also damaged several KC-135s. As for the E-3, the term “damaged” was clearly an understatement, as the valuable aircraft is basically destroyed. @JohnH_BBT @MAC_Arms @MaygerSarge Assuming every image is AI is not a better solution. This image is not AI. It's a photoshop of this image first uploaded to the internet in December 2011. The photoshopped version first appears on the internet around 2017-2018, long before AI. Just good old human goofing.

The question is based on a false premise of how elections work. The common misunderstanding doesn't make it reality. You don't elect a party, you elect a person to represent your riding. If they feel they can better serve the interests of their riding by floor crossing, then that's what they should do. In many cases, it's likely the case. Being part of the governing coalition gives you the ability to have real say in the interest of your voters.

Should a govt that brokers a majority through influencing floor crossings instead of using byelections so the voters have the say be grated the SAME authority as a minority govt? 🤔

I know there’s a lot of negativity around Battlefield 6 rn (deserved) but I’m genuinely interested in how this game will look at the end of its lifecycle DICE loves to cook at the eleventh hour so hopefully that remains the case. It may sound weird but I’m hyped to play that BF6

@SuperTrollBot69 @xonebros Get an AI to read the thread for you, for real. Because I didn't take a stand against AI. I made a comment about its current quality, which is still pretty shit. That isn't the same as being against AI. In fact, every reply I've sent to you has told you to use AI.

Caring about AI being used to create assets in Crimson Desert is like refusing to eat at a restaurant because you found out they used a food processor instead of hand chopping the onions. Only the anti-AI social media bros care. Nobody else does. It's a great game. AI is a tool. Every studio will use it, and they should.
Crimson Desert@CrimsonDesert_

We would like to address questions regarding the use of AI in Crimson Desert. During development, some 2D visual props were created as part of early-stage iteration using experimental AI generative tools. These assets helped us rapidly explore tone and atmosphere in the earlier phases of production. However, our intention has always been for any such assets to be replaced, following final work and review by our art and development teams, with work that aligned with our quality standards and creative direction. Following reports from our community, we have identified that some of these assets were unintentionally included in the final release. This is not in line with our internal standards, and we take full responsibility for it. We also acknowledge that we should have clearly disclosed our use of AI. While these tools were primarily used during early production, with the expectation that these assets would be replaced prior to release, we recognize that this does not excuse the lack of transparency. We sincerely apologize for these oversights. We are currently conducting a comprehensive audit of all in-game assets and are taking steps to replace any affected content. Updated assets will be rolled out in upcoming patches. In parallel, we are reviewing and strengthening our internal processes to ensure greater transparency and consistency in how we communicate with players moving forward.

@bludclouds I don't think people understand that, in most cases, the alternatives are either the same 2-3 images used over and over, some publicly licensed images, or no artwork at all. It's not going to create or take 20 artists' jobs.

@egbjhiegrhuigri @xonebros I don't care if AI is in a game. I actually think AI can introduce features to gaming that wouldn't be possible without it. I just think developers should be honest about what made their game if they're confident it's good anyway.

@TashRoger @NACHOS2D_ @central838 Good luck with turning a book into a movie without human intervention to turn the script into something actually viable for a screenplay. That's disregarding your dumbass identity politics crap that you think justifies pushing actual creatives out of creative work.
