The clip of Tucker talking about the Book of Esther is precisely why commentators need to stay in their lane. He either hasn’t:
1) Read Esther
2) Doesn’t understand what he read.
3) Is intentionally misrepresenting the text while claiming to be a Christian.
James gave a strong warning for those who seek to teach. “Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness” (James 3:1).
The Book of Esther is a beautiful picture of the faithfulness of God to protect His People in a foreign land. The precision of God is astounding. The Hand of God is evident. God perfectly plans and times situations to work in His people’s favor. It shows how when His people cry out to Him, even when He seems absent, He will flip on the enemies head what evil the enemy planned for the Children of God. The people who the Persian King puts to death had wickedly plotted the destruction/genocide of God’s People.
