Most Latino and Black college students attend / start at community college in California Dr. Michael Galvez + myself are both medical subspecialists + community college grads from the Bay Area, CA Medical schools CAN consider community college as a strategy to diversify medicine Medical schools + universities have a SOCIAL + ETHICAL duty to invest and admit / train surrounding community college grads - a vital talent pool of underserved / low income students Our medical schools owe it to our communities #NationalLatinoPhysicianDay
