@CockyMF

Educated, militant, left-handed Black man born & raised in NYC. Don't let the silliness fool you. Knicks, Giants, Yankees...in that order. The photo is me.

@DukeOfZamunda I guarantee people would have been all pissed off that he doesn't turn good and become Tony Stark and Iron Man at the end of the movie

All these fast food restaurants closing down locations because they lost the plot. A combo meal from a fast food restaurant was never meant to be more than $7. Once they started creeping up towards $10 for a combo, they entered fast casual territory which is Chili's/Applebee's.

There's a huge disconnect between what's happening in Maine and the way folks outside of Maine are talking about Maine. But what do I know, I just live here.

@nhoodpublicist I saw a video where it said that Texas intentionally pushed brisket and central Texas BBQ cause it's mostly white. And that Texas BBQ from other regions is Black or Latino based.

@meleni_xiluva @MfundiCalvin Not paying for a pack of pads, which I know can be about $7.50 sends a real clear message. She was smart to get the fuck out of there.

I just saw a TikTok video of a girl saying she gave up on moving in with her boyfriend because they went grocery shopping for his house and she put a pack of tampons in with the stuff and he separated it for her to pay for it.👀

@tify330 @treeaston White leftists keep forgetting that the "establishment" people they hate are the ones who actually have relationships with the voters they need. Gregory Meeks literally helped my family with a problem and all our neighbors heard about it.

@treeaston Even Mamdani needed some of that support to build trust - Tish James, Kathy Hochul. You are not bringing change without forging strong relationships, its next to impossible to do. Politicals is a team effort.

I know an entire cohort of lefties has been conditioned to decry "the establishment," but it's really about forging relationships over time and building trust. It's basic Politics 101, and the longer those on the left eschew it, the longer they'll be on the outside looking in.
Candidly Tiff@tify330

State Party machines still influence elections. Angela Alsobrooks, Lisa Blunt Rochester, and Juliana Stratton benefited from their support. Voters value established relationships, not just ideology. The concept of “the establishment” varies online and in real life. Wes Moore and JB Pritzker’s backing made a difference.

This was a message to Talarico and all his supporters who attacked her with racist messaging around electability. What she's saying is that she's not helping the Talerico campaign with any kind of Black outreach. You're in your own.

I’m so very honored to vigorously represent Texas 30 in the Congress until Jan of 2027 and am back in the ranker seat today. With that being said, as a member of the 92%, I’ve labored without hesitation nor rest for some time which has been unhealthy. My labor going forward will be laser focused & balanced.

@jtgray1gmx1270 @Hamiltonstears Not everyone has a birth certificate and you have to pay money to get a replacement. If you need a birth certificate to vote and have to pay to get one that's a poll tax.

@Hamiltonstears You only need a birth certificate, which everyone has/can get to REGISTER the first time when you vote. If you're already registered, as most are, you just show your ID. They dims have pressed this lie so HARD over and over and over that it's everywhere as truth, but it's a lie.

This is not a lie. Your bill does not accept a drivers license as ID to vote. You need a passport or a birth certificate. Your bill also eliminates voting by mail. When Kansas adopted a bill like your they kicked out 28,000 happy, shiny clean folks from Kansas who were otherwise eligible to vote.
