Oklahoma State is set to announce a unique jersey patch sponsorship deal with the Osage Nation, those involved w/ the agreement tell @SBJ. The patch will extend across all OSU athletic teams beginning this fall. This marks the first jersey patch sold in the Big 12.

Kanijal Thomas Thomas is a 5-11 Corner who is transferring in from K-State as a 3-Star, and will have 2 years of eligibility. Thomas is originally from Del City, which is where LaDainian Fields is from as well, and played for former Cowboy Robert Jones. Thomas is known for his athleticism, agility, high energy, and the ability to force turnovers. He's also known to take sprint work personally, in the sense that he never loses a sprint workout. Thomas will be looking for a bigger role than he's had previously at K-State, partly due to injury. He's another track guy, as most of the incoming transfers are as well, in the secondary. At Del City, he finished 3rd in the 200 meters, posting a time of 22.05. As a point of reference, LaDainian ran the 200 as well and finished 4th in the 200 with a time of 21.70, so those 2 are very similar in speed and endurance, and will both be playing in the same defensive backfield. More of the familiarity piece that will make the "culture building" part of things MUCH easier and a faster process. #gopokes #okstate
