À chaque fois que Farhadi tourne à l’étranger, les coutures de son cinéma, amas de fils narratifs grossièrement tricotés, se révèlent. Histoires Parallèles, où des stars françaises peinent à incarner un propos pénible sur les liens entre réel et imaginaire, est un désastre.

Having 'Beloved' ranked as the second-greatest novel of all time is absurd. It's not even Toni Morrison's best novel, arguably not even her second-best. The list does include some excellent choices though, 'The Left Hand of Darkness' by Ursula K. Le Guin and 'Pedro Páramo' by Juan Rulfo, even if the latter is placed far too low. At the same time, the absence of 'Under the Volcano' by Malcolm Lowry is indefensible. Excluding Philip Roth completely is, perhaps, even more egregious.

Still think one of the my favorite casting choices is Sally Potter choosing Quentin Crisp to play Queen Elizabeth II in Orlando (1992) who was a closeted trans woman at the time, in a narrative about a man magically transitioning into a woman.

@chaoswintour Pre-distressed jeans are embarrassing. I do not get the obsession with denim at all - and denim and Dior should not be in the same category to begin with but distressed denim?! It was played out a decade ago and it was awful then as well.

@missdaisyfdoo @elemental_click It’s a great song! It’s cute when he hits the wrong key about 20 seconds in. As a non musician it’s beyond me how someone can play piano and sing at the same time. And even more so that he used to DRUM and sing at the same time, as he did when he was in Genesis.
