When people hear the phrase "mental health", they often interpret it as "mental illness". And a lot of them switch off or distance themselves.
Thinking about the need to support good mental health in #IBD, how can we rebrand this term to focus more on its positive associations?

Can we agree that "just try to relax" is possibly the most useless piece of medical advice to give an anxious patient undergoing testing?! 😁
Medical people - please bin this phrase and introduce distraction techniques in its place - that's the secret sauce here! 🥂
