I'm not a lesbian because I was "afab," it's because I choose to live as one, I'm only attracted to women/femmes (fellow butches ily but not for me) and it just makes sense and makes me comfortable and happy! I do not feel connected to my birth sex at all

I don't need anyone's approval to "give" me my manhood lmao. I prefer to move through the world in a way that brings euphoria and the two labels that fit best are trans man and butch. It's also gross to imply you can't be a lesbian unless you're a woman, nonbinary lesbians exist!

@uckema This literally complains that voters choose candidates. Third parties can run. They do. They don't succeed because voters don't pick them. Third party candidates aren't serious, they just run to spoil, that's the real problem.

It's dumb when Americans talk about their two party system like it's some tyrannical thing imposed upon them. Americans get to elect their own candidates! Voters decide what the parties believe! US parties are the weakest in the world yet Americans act like they're the strongest.

@ComradeKalia @matpolloy He didn't know about the kalkite, as far as he were aware they might have been able to lay low and not get massacred (we may know that isn't so but he didn't) instead he pushed them to rebel anyway, to encourage a crackdown, he'd prefer them martyred than falling in line.

That’s because Rebels is a show for children on DisneyXD… they are not going to have a nuanced view on revolutions. Which is why Andor gives a far more sympathetic take on Saw and shows why Luthen’s actions are a necessary part of revolution. You need Mon Mothma and Saw Gerrera.

The fact that a lot of people defend Saw, shows that what he represents is gravely misunderstood. Saw is meant to show that even fighting the good fight, there is grey areas. He's meant to be an extremist, in fact in-universe Rebels call him just that

@latkedelrey iirc it’s the amount and length of radiation exposure; especially if ghouls receive additional radiation high levels of radiation after becoming ghouls, they can become feral more quickly
also think that’s why the cowboy ghoul in the show need the meds? but idk

my theory is that tech optimism was their fuel for awhile. tech optimism began to fade as the future was looking less utopian and was obviously always about getting infinite money. when the public began to turn on big tech, tech turned to reactionary ideology to fill that void

I think someone needs to write a book about how all these tech guys decided to go insane at the same time. They all stopped doing philanthropy and were like, what if I convince myself I am saving humanity from a cool futuristic problem that doesn't exist yet so I can be evil now?

Took my boys to the new French kids movie, Arco. It’s really French— that oversaturated mix of whimsy and existential melancholy. At some point my kindergartener turned to me and said it was scary. I said, what about it is scary? He got confused and said “I… don’t know.”
