This is why people leave the hobby. I haven’t even touched a single Ascended Heroes product yet. “UgH dOn’T hAtE tHe PlAyEr, hAtE tHe GaMe” “sKiLl IsSuE bRo” My job keeps me from being able to hit restocks. I love the hobby, but shiny cardboard is not enough of a reason to make a drastic life decision by leaving a stress free job while I work on starting my own business. So no, it’s not a skill issue, and yes, I will very much dislike people who take way more than they should in order to take advantage, rip off, and essentially steal from other people. This hobby may not cool down for a long time, but there are certainly measures Pokemon and retailers can take to curb this kind of activity, and they aren’t.

@nintendo_chall @Mazapan404 I guess the main thing is support of gimmicks. Allows more changes during rotation, not allowing megas and allowing dynamax for example. Also, it means working on the mainline games don’t need to add in the vgc aspect as much, and can dedicate resources elsewhere

@thepokemodgroup they should be rerunning old gigantamax events once a month. absurd that these are event locked and not on a similar rotation to mega raids. i just got back to the game after a break and i can't have a gigantamax kingler cause i wasn't playing specifically on feb 1st last year

I just buy the singles now, especially when a booster box is more than a chase card. I normally don’t even want the most expensive card personally

@sanhwa75 @PokeTCGAlerts That’s one way, another is to stop paying the scalpers the market price and lose out on products. I missed out on so many because of this and that’s just the way it is right now. Paying them is what keeps them here

@PokeTCGAlerts It’s the botting scam. Only way to overcome this is to oversaturate the market and break the resellers wallets and try to get buyers some inventory so they don’t buy from resellers. Same thing happened in the shoe game.
