I just left Costco and I feel like an idiot...
The people in front of me bought $1,200 in top shelf alcohol, cases of redbull, and steaks.
They split it up and paid for the steaks and redbull with EBT, and then pulled out a giant wad of $100 bills to pay for the alcohol in cash.
WTF am I doing with my life??? I haven't bought steak in years - I haven't bought alcohol in decades. Too expensive. On the rare occasion we eat out, I buy the cheapest thing on the menu.
Yet these people can just casually drop thousands of dollars of my tax money on things I can't even afford?? Just to drive home to a taxpayer funded house nicer than I live in.
We are completely destroyed as a society.

The Old Testament is a graveyard for the argument that truth is determined by majority preference. Elijah stood against 450 prophets of Baal. Jeremiah stood against Judah’s priests, rulers, and crowds. The faithful remnant was usually small.
“Most people don’t want it” is not a Catholic argument. It is the argument the prophets spent their lives confronting.
The parallel is not that the Novus Ordo is equivalent to idolatry—it is not—but that numbers cannot determine what is true, sacred, or worthy of preservation.

I share your love for traditional worship and applaud your enthusiasm for it, but if anything is obvious the fact that traditionalists are a minute fraction of the global church is obvious. What is also obvious is that many --probably the majority of Catholics do not wish to return to the TLM. At the same time, I think many Catholic DO want more reverent and traditional celebrations of the Mass, and I am encouraged by the number of younger priests and seminarians who are similarly inclined.

I never thought this would happen to me. Caught on Tesla dashcam today (July 6) around 5:18pm in the Lower East Side.
She walked straight up to my parked white Tesla at 171 E Broadway, tore the plate straight off, then casually walked away… and later strolled right back past the spot like nothing happened.
Complete psychopath.
