Had a convo w/ a mentor about the significant financial burden on med students ➡️ Convo motivated the initiation of a real-time intervention to ease financial strain ➡️ One yr later, we hosted 2 free professional clothing drives to help students dress for clinical success (1/3)

With the Surgical Diversity Inclusion Taskforce @PennStHershey, we ran our 2nd professional clothing drive last weekend. Got a huge donation turnout and received awesome feedback from classmates that something like this does make a difference. @Cooper_AB78 and @ Dr. Burns (3/3)

Took a tiny hiatus from twitter. BUT in the last month, I... - got ATLS certified 🏥🚨✅ - started meds for my anxiety (honestly, it’s about damn time 🤷🏼‍♀️💃🏼) ✅ - ate & drank (always been a sucker for sours🍺) my way through Asheville ✅ - oh yea, also got engaged.. !!! 💍🥰✅
