We were honoured to welcome the Cops for Cancer Tour de Coast to Burnaby on the final day of their journey, including our very own Team Burnaby riders. Their efforts are helping to fund life-saving research and support for children with cancer & their families. Thank you!

Meet Colton, a police call taker and dispatcher-in-training with an incredible story. At just four years old, Colton was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma. After a year of chemotherapy at BC Children’s Hospital and a groundbreaking surgery, he recently celebrated 25 years cancer-free. This year, Colton is proudly representing E-Comm on the support crew for Tour de Coast, connecting with survivors, families, and first responders who share in this journey. Learn more about Colton’s story and support him and his team as they raise funds for pediatric cancer: bit.ly/460IzaP #CopsForCancer @Cops4CancerCan

Congratulations to #VPD Sergeant Dayne Campbell, who has been awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal in recognition of his remarkable volunteer service with Cops for Cancer. For more than 17 years, Sgt. Campbell rode with the Cops for Cancer team, dedicating himself to raising funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research. Last year, his commitment became deeply personal when his daughter was diagnosed with cancer — a moment that inspired him to cycle 7,000 km across Canada in her honour. Over the years, Dayne’s efforts — both as a team member and individually — have helped raise more than $8 million to support life-saving research and treatment, and to give children with cancer the chance to attend Camp Goodtimes, a place of joy, connection, and healing. Fittingly, Dayne chose to receive his medal at Camp Goodtimes last week — a place that reflects the heart of his mission. @cancersociety @Cops4CancerCan @SgtCampbellVPD #TourdeCoast

This week we had the privilege of welcoming 10 year old Evan, one of the brave young members of our Cops for Cancer family, to the North Vancouver RCMP detachment. 🚔💙 Evan is currently on his cancer journey and recovering from treatment, but that hasn’t stopped him from dreaming big. His goal? To become a police officer when he grows up. To help him along that path, we organized a special visit complete with a detachment tour, RCMP hats and shirts, IFNU sweaters, and challenge coins. And of course, we couldn’t resist doing a full drive by with all our police vehicles, lights and sirens on, just for Evan. 🚨🚓 Evan, your courage and determination inspire us all. We’ll be ready for your application when the time comes. 💪
