@RonFilipkowski Winner winner of the incredibly stupid post of the day award! Congrats!!

@MikeFellman The Palestinians don't want self-determination if it means recognizing Israel's indefinite existence, and until that changes, they aren't going to get it.
English

Critics of Israel are right that international law respects incumbent communities' right to self-determination. It does not and never has vindicated some fanciful right to return to an ancient homeland.
However, the modern Jewish community which established itself in Ottoman and Mandate Palestine between about 1880 and 1948 would clear the bar of being an incumbent community.
Indigeneity is not germane to the law at issue. Had Zulus moved into mandate Palestine, they to would have had the right to self-determination at the point of decolonization.
That's a much less romantic framing of Israel from a 3000 year homecoming, but its one that is based in actual law and not in made up rights.
The way to solve the conflict is two states. No, not everyone is going to end up in the state they want without moving but that's just too bad. The alternative is no self-determination for Palestinians ever.

@ggreenwald As hard as its getting to follow Megan Kelly for her own commentary, reposting anything from Greenwald is her most egregious choice

Rant incoming.
I get it, being critical of starting the war in Iran.
I also get the skepticism and concern that we were headed for another endless conflict. I was skeptical.
But I also figured Trump had information I did not, and I certainly presumed the last thing Trump wanted was a forever war.
So, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and assumed that a lot of smart people had gamed this out and knew what they were doing.
And it appears - at least for now - that Trump pulled off a geopolitical game changer. One can at least make the case that this is how we should have handled North Korea back in the 90s.
And for what it’s worth, back in 2020 I initially gave Trump the benefit of the doubt on what seemed like a disastrous Covid response. And as it turned out, it was in fact disastrous. And I later said so, especially with respect to the now infamous Operation Warp Speed.
Like I said, I get it.
But I don’t I understand @megynkelly
Ok, you were critical of the war. Fair enough.
But “Yay. We're ending the war by getting them to open the strait that was open before we started the war. Great."
That’s one of the dumbest comments in the history of dumb comments. And that includes Democrats. 🤦♀️
Megyn, I know you’re smarter than this. Until now, I thought you were better than this. You can’t even manage a “Trump may have pulled it off” acknowledgment? Or at least remained neutral while the endgame plays out?
You can’t even acknowledge that we decimated their most radical leadership, neutered their military, and ended their imminent nuclear threat? Seriously?
Apparently not - you had to go full mean girl.
For what? Money? Not being wrong? Vanity?
I’m sure you have your reasons, but you lost me as a listener with this. I doubt I’m alone.
The Megyn Kelly Show@MegynKellyShow
Megyn reacts to President Trump's announcement that the Strait of 'Iran' is now open: "Yay. We're ending the war by getting them to open the strait that was open before we started the war. Great."

@davidgokhshtein @MegynKellyShow Why are you satisfied with his scrotum so close to your face ?
Don't you have a shitcoin to launch or some crap to shill ?

Trump administration & family & insiders & acquaintances doing insider trading = financial crime of the century
The scale also: crypto, stocks, commodities, all of it gets hit with huge insider trading like this, facilitated by the president of the usa & family
Hope it all comes to light one day, but probably all gets covered up again like the epstein files

BREAKING: Just 20 minutes before Trump's announcement that the Strait of Hormuz was open, massive trades hit the market.
Investors sold a combined 7,990 lots of Brent crude futures, a $760 million bet that oil would go down.
These orders were much larger than anything else at the time.
The traders made huge gains.
Unusual.
English

@JP_TheSnake @Geiger_Capital For sure. Liked his posts strictly pertaining to markets, but now time to unfollow
English

@CoreyZimmerma19 @Geiger_Capital Anything for clicks and views unfortunately
English

@Geiger_Capital Why is America the greatest nation on the planet?? It happened magically? By accident?? You've been criticizing Trump's moves for weeks. Far be it for you to give him any credit. You're pathetic!!
English

@JP_TheSnake @Geiger_Capital Amen my brother!! This dude was a doomsayer as recently as two short weeks ago. What a fraud!
English

@Geiger_Capital Bitch get out of here. You were chief among the idiots panicking and pushing every Iranian talking point. But sure. Stocks go green. Good job

Joe Rogan on the Iran War: “All of it’s terrifying. Any time you’re involved with — you’re shooting missiles into towns and blowing things up, blowing up infrastructure, blowing up bridges — you know, and Israel’s blowing up Lebanon now. It’s like, what the f*ck are we doing? Like, how is this still going on?”
David Cross: “Well, it’s also clear there was no plan. Zero. None.”
Joe Rogan: “[Benjamin] Netanyahu has been telling the United States that Iran was months away from building a nuclear bomb for 30 years, or 20 years at least. They’ve always been saying that. Trump was the first one to go, ‘All right, let’s do something about it.’ But it seems like they didn’t know what the f*ck they were going to do.”
“Look, the Iranian regime is terrible. Like what they do to their protesters, it’s all evil.”
“Most people that voted for Trump or wanted Trump to be in office, one of the things that was attractive was this ‘no more wars.’ And now we’re in one of the craziest ones. And China’s flying in cargo planes filled with stuff. We don’t know what the f*ck’s in there.”
David Cross: “And Russia is giving Iran information about where our troops are.”
Joe Rogan: “Fun, super fun. Great times.”

@DukeOfLondonIII @TiffMoodNukes @RealCandaceO @JeffN559137 Winner winner of the incredibly stupid post of the day award! Congrats!!
English

@TiffMoodNukes @RealCandaceO @JeffN559137 She’s not wrong though.
At least Biden (flaws included) didn’t make America a global laughingstock like Trump has these past 13 months.
It just gets more and more insane everyday. How your country is going to survive 3 more years of this I don’t know. Without imploding.

@FedupMama84 @marsea_design @FiveTimesAugust @hodgetwins Winner winner of the incredibly stupid post of the day award! Congrats!!
English

@marsea_design @FiveTimesAugust @hodgetwins lol. Everything you just said is just propaganda to keep you distracted while they rob us blind. Democrats have nothing to do with the existence of trans people. Doctors are the ones who diagnose trans people. Trump didn’t change anything, and inflation is worse than ever.
English

I think what we’re witnessing with Trump is a careful uniparty orchestration of dismantling MAGA and his base so when the Democrats are back in power it looks like an organic unfolding of events. They have to keep the public thinking everything happens at the voting booth. It keeps the poors docile and complacent. So come next election the conservative turn out will be very poor (I predict the lowest in years) due to this continuous falling out with Trump. He doesn’t even pretend to care at this point. But I’m seeing it every day on here. People are walking away, and for good reason, but all by design I believe. It’s all setting the stage for the pendulum to swing back over to the left. And it will swing back harder than ever.
English

@DefiyantlyFree A sure sign that Trump and his admin are winning is when Dems file articles of impeachment. That's the tell. And its a pathetic one at that!
English

Obama authorized 542 drone strikes, dropped over 26,000 bombs in a single year across seven countries, and killed between 380 and 801 civilians according to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism and YET not a single one of his three Secretaries of Defense (Leon Panetta, Chuck Hagel, or Ash Carter) was ever served with articles of impeachment.
Over his full eight-year presidency (2009–2017), Obama dropped approximately 92,000 to 100,000 bombs and missiles across seven to eight countries, according to compiled U.S. Air Force and coalition data. That works out to roughly 31 to 34 bombs per day, or about 1.3 to 1.4 bombs every single hour for eight straight years.
Congressional approval?
Zero.
This is why not one sane person can ever take anything the Democratic Party does seriously.
English

@mazemoore @adamcarolla You're one of the best posters in the X universe imo, but you are so incredibly off here. You're certainly entitled to dislike someone, but overrated?? Only one of the very best to play the game. Not in dispute!
English

@RobReinerFan_ @DefiyantlyFree Winner winner of the incredibly stupid post of the day award! Congrats!!
English

@DefiyantlyFree How about we first put the guy with 30 plus felonies in jail?
English

I’m no apologist for any Democrat much less the guy who banged a CCP spy. I want to know what Nancy Pelosi knew and when she knew it, and I want to know who was responsible for setting this entire theater in motion because all these people should also be going to jail for their constant manipulation of politics.
They literally make back room deals and decide who is gonna run, who is gonna be taken out. They did it to Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden…
Again, no love lost for any one of these American hating communists, but I would like some accountability for the fact that their party is run like the five families.
English

Reporter: “Swalwell had called you his best friend. You had never asked him about any of the rumors that had been swirling around Democrat politics of his inappropriate behavior?”
Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ): “I did… My family and his family were as close as it gets… We had dinner together as a family… I did ask him, and he lied to me… He manipulated me... Everyone else was too.”
English
