Actually, AI/Robotics will mean everyone can have a penthouse if they want. The output of goods & services will be several orders of magnitude higher than today’s economy.

Do you?
If anyone commits a violent crime and might be a danger to others again, they should be locked away for a long time: retarded or insane, or not.
This is a clear and major ethical flaw in US legal standards.

Our government is aligned across HHS op divs to get clinical AI into the hands of American patients and physicians. We will need an FDA approval process, ONC support, CMS reimbursement, and ARPA-H will fund R&D while these regulatory processes are built out. It’s nearly impossible to devise a good regulatory framework while a technology is still waiting to be developed. Doing the two in lock step is how we’ll get regs that match what’s happening in technology.
