@DC_Housing keeps violating residents' rights. There are both District and Federal Laws that protect residents from mistreatment, harassment, intimidation, etc, type behavior directed towards residents. I raise hell through keeping receipts & I have almost 3 decades worth.

On Wed, 3-25-2026, I went down to DCHA @ 300 D St. SW & Ms. Deborah Simms accosted me. @DC_Housing employees will learn to respect tenants because I'm going to exercise my rights to be respected when my rights are protected under District and Federal Law. Grievance Filed.

@maustermuhle @Janeese4DC She is not going to do diddly squat other than line her pockets and grease her palms like the rest of these tainted reps.

It's also going to present the next mayor with tough choices. @Janeese4DC is promising to fulfill the longstanding plan to expand the subsidy program so that no D.C. family pays more than 10% of their income on child care.

NEWS: D.C. says that starting on May 12 it will implement a wait list for the child care subsidy program, which currently helps 7,500 kids from low-income families pay for child care. City officials say without it, enrollment growth will blow the program's $96 million budget.

On the heels of DC losing over $600 million from our budget for the second straight year, we must do what it takes to preserve our healthcare infrastructure. As DC’s only elected pharmacist, I’m looking at expanding health insurance options like the Healthy DC Plan. People need to be insured, pharmacies must stay open and hospitals should operate without a hitch. Healthcare workers in office are important in times like these. We have the expertise and experience to improve outcomes despite huge cuts.

In light of the upcoming vote preventing DC from controlling its own finances, I joined forces with Free DC to seek a meeting with the office of Senator Lisa Murkowski to convince her to vote NO.

Today the Committee on Public Works & Operations held the first half of the DPW hearing. We had a good convo with residents on snow response, parking enforcement & the District's Zero Waste plan that will inform our questions for the agency at our hearing in March.
